I like seeing what people pack, just in case there's something that catches my eye that I might find useful. I always try and take travel sizes of everything when I'm away overnight. Holidays are different though, I need as much for a week as I do for a fortnight. Hope the laser surgery went well 👍.

Hi Ruth, have you tried the Colorescience Flex sunscreen? It’s an all mineral sunscreen in a very elegant formulation that also has medium coverage, like a foundation, it’s amazing for the summer. Can’t wait to hear more about the eye surgery! 🤗

I recommend Wild mini deodorants or the Native ones. They are very travel friendly and compact. I carry no foundation most of the times, just a good concealer in my skin tone. Estee lauder even has a mini version of their double wear which is tiny. I always have my sunscreen and a red lipstick which gets used as blush. And I must have a tweezer as I obsessively pluck any fluff I discover. Tweezerman has the best and tiniest of them.

Looking forward to hearing about your eye surgery experience! I had Lasik a few years ago and honestly can say the best investment I've made for myself (although the actual surgery I found really scary and the first three or so weeks afterwards as well)! Life-changing :)

I usually bring a powder foundation, seems like everywhere except a literal desert is muggy nowadays. Not wrong about schlepping the suitcase, I was surprised at the exertion needed to visit England starting at Heathrow, the tube and then Euston. Forget it if you have any physical disability.

Your analogies always make me laugh and unfortunately my husband becomes the donkey or cart horse as I’m a terrible packer. I also laughed at the “startled rabbit” comment. I haven’t tried the Clinique foundation and I’ll try it as I find the Sisley quite scented. Always on the lookout for the perfect ear buds.

if you're after earpugs to sleep in , the Loop ones are amazing !! they are expensive but i can highly recommend them , i know longer have to hear my upstairs neighbours bedroom noise ... so gross !
