If are you wondering what's inside in a custom powerwall storage solution for PV system based on used batteries from a crashed Tesla Model S, take a look on this video.
This is the third day working to my DIY project based on Tesla Module S used batteries. In this video I finish almost all cable management and I prepare to finish all. Need to connect the batteries to the BMS and after that the only thing that need to be done is to power on the entire system.
In this video you will see all the cable management in his own case and all the fuses I used in oder to protect this batteries. I decide to put 2 contactor that is connected to SIMP Bms and in this way when the batteries is over-charger more than 4.2v the system will shut down this contactor for prevent over-charging.

Nice. Your English is fine. I have a very similar system. I pump tryethelene glycol through all the batteries. It flows through a small radiator with a fan on it. It will also heat the batteries if the get to cold. I have a heeting element in the glycol reservoir. I automated they heating/ cooling system with a 10 degree bandwidth. My battery bank is only 15 kilowatts. My solar is capable of 130 amps at 24 volts. I have noticed a couple degree temperature rise when charging at 130 amps. The cooling system may not really be necessary but it is good insurance. I will be watching to see how your system performs. Thanks for the video.

Sweet setup! Did you fabricate the powerwall enclosure? This is by far the best mounting option I’ve come across for the Tesla modules, and I’d like to do something similar.

The cooling system should work as heating and keep the batteries above 0 degrees C, as long as you keep the room above 0 C, and you use anti freeze not just regular water in it, so you don't really need to do heating. It's just thermal transfer, making the battery temperature equal to the room temperature whether it's warmer or colder...

The batteries are installed in garage and garage in under the soil, so is -1, in this case the temperature is between 18 to 28 Celsius.

I control slave BMS from Tesla whit a master BMS from SIMP. Also we have several BMS that talk whit Tesla BMS.

Very interesting project! First thing that I didn't quite get (or maybe missed it during the video) - what voltage span does the inverter use? When I was looking for something similar I didn't find any inverter that was suitable for the 6S configuration of the Tesla modules. It seems that you are connecting two by two modules in series and then they are put together in parallel (in each box). How warm are you expecting it to get in these enclosures? Seems you are taking some serious precautions in regards of heat, but better safe than sorry! For me (Denmark) the issue is that it can get somewhat chilly where the batteries are (never under 0C but usually around 3-4C but it all depends on how cold it is outside) and I am still to find a suitable solution for heating the pack up a bit. You are using some cool (and expensive) equipment and the project seems really well made. Really looking forward to future videos!

Oh and one more thing - not familiar with Fibaro, but make sure you have it setup in a way that is not dependent on having a constant internet connection. Shit happens ... it is just a matter of time so better be prepared for downtime. Seems like you have prepared for some physical buttons, but I might be wrong.

Martin, this setup is on 48V so can works with almost any solar inverter an any MPPT. I setup 2 modules in series and also all 4 packs in parallel, in this way i will have 48V and 900A. My friend Marc from www.evshop.eu has a decide that can heat your batteries in cold situation. Just write him an email and for sure you will fins solution. Thanks for beautiful words :)

The battery is setup on 48V, so is safe to touch.

I use to disconnect the battery from inverter. In fact de BMS will disconnect in case of over voltage and in case of under voltage . Is act as a switch but is controlled by BMS.
