Thank you for all the inspiration! As a late beginner (I'm 2,5 years into piano now, although I've played trumpet for 25+ years before that), I can relate to some of the questions. However, regarding the last one about 'who to play for', I learned a couple of pieces that I sometimes play on public piano's. Almost always there is someone who gives a compliment or some kind of appreciation. People might love classical music more than they realize :). Anyway, inspired by your video, I'm off to practicing again. BWV 939 is waiting to be learned.

Regarding the second question... I would say almost nothing is more important than music...and I'm not a musician. My two favorite things in life... my go-to things to make me feel good...ever since I was a little kid....is music and animals. There are huge numbers of people who find music amazingly significant to their lives...what you do is immensely important compared to the majority.

hi, tiffany. love your videos. i would like to know what do you think of the cello? as a solo instrument (with some kind of accompaniment. piano or orchestra). everybody thinks that the cello is an instrument that is the closest to a human voice, and it is known for its beautiful lyrical and slow melodies, but i personally think the cello is so much more. i think it is one of the greatest instruments for concertos, because of the amazing register and i think it can be highly virtuosic. (well there are virtuosic pieces, but i think the cello can do so much more...)
