How do you know the concrete is "weak" because the top finish got fucked up in one spot? Well that got fixed
@driver142126 күн бұрын
@@whitepilled22 Because, too much water in concrete makes it weak, this concrete was extremely wet, also they made a change of plans, not wanting to put the weight of a house on it.
@whitepilled2226 күн бұрын
@@driver1421 yeah I saw that top comment too. Don't take yt comments as gospel truth. What does "weak" even mean? I bet that slab will still exist in 100 years, as long as it isn't demolished. They never intended to build a houses weight on top, because they never did a footing.
@driver142126 күн бұрын

The slab wasn't a monolithic which wouldn't hold any walls. Also a wall put on it, it can crack the concert. Also because you didn't do it right it can move sideways if rain gets under it.

Just finish the barndo and then look at moving the grain bin and messing with a bunch more concrete. It’ll be 6 months from now now and you’ll have 2 disjunct slabs of concrete, some posts and trusses, an empty grain bin and no where to live. If you are doing “family planning” then the clock is ticking and finishing out a living space takes a ton of time and money
