Fusso coat was only ever hard to wipe down because everyone applies it too thick. When applied thin like you did, it comes off beautifully. Good job mate, this will be an interesting one. The only difference in the dark v light Fusso coat is the dark fusso has better filling abilities. You can apply either on any colour paint.

Am using both Fusso coat and Can coat on different vehicles. love both and Fusso easy to apply if put on correctly and get app 8 months real world use. Will see how can coat goes as only just applied.

I have seen few people have put the yellow coating pad (Applicator) for the Fusso coat in the water so its light light wet and the "process" have been more easy to buff off, if it works maybe?.

Shouldn’t you have polished it? The surface would have been better prepped for the products I think rather than leaving it at the compounding step. Plus it would better mimic what most people do, right? Interested in your thought process there thanks much. Interested in the result.

2 main reasons were that this paint is so hard that it finishes down so well with this combo of compound and intermediate pad that if I was one stepping this as a car it's what I'd use. Secondly that I was hoping to leave some light swirls behind so we can see which products have the best looks and filling ability as some of these are products people will use without machine polishing since they're available for consumers so I used the machine polisher to ensure the paint is bare and clean but didn't want to use a finishing polish as I wanted to leave some swirls or potential haze to see which products look the best. Unfortunately this didn't happen as the compound and pad I used still left the paint incredibly well finished

No this was a cutting compound but finishes down quite well so able to use it to do a single stage on this paint. Definitely not using any all in one's as they will contain si02 or similar to give protection which would mean the paint isn't bare before applying the products

The owner says its still going good, what I've found on my not really well prepped tyres was the sealant part lasted as they tyres beading like crazy but the blackness went, so I'd say having a second tyre dressing like carpro per to top up would be best option

From my personal testing the Can Coat EVO needs 2 coats to experience the crazy hydrophobics and maximum durability. I'm sure the other coatings are the same way. This test will be invalid with a single layer. The Meguiars is $30 in the U.S. and Can Coat is $59.99. The import fees must be really high down under :)

I'm going by the directions as per Gyeon and they never mention 2x layers being needed so can't call it invalid if I'm following their directions. Yes the prices here for U.S stuff is crazy but also remember our dollar is different so $60 USD for the gyeon is pretty comparable to the $80 AUD we pay

@@EvolvedDetails Most people are going to layer these regardless of directions. Sandro tested all of these with one and 2 coats. The coatings performed much better with 2 coats. Same with my personal experience using these.
