Okay this brings one problem to mind the only reason we can't push air is it moves so if you froze time with say a stop watch AIR WOULD BE A SOLID YOU WOULD SUFFOCATE AND BE UNABLE TO MOVE TO RESTART TIME is this not terrifying to you? Lol (sorry way into physics and chemistry)
@originalneverknown6 жыл бұрын
@@angelicabomination1699 No? The idea of stopping time has never been limited to the constraints of space-time. Either they are stopping time in the only way actually thinkable irl, which is to say that, time would also be frozen for them, and so they would not even know that time had been frozen as they would only resume perceiving things as it unfroze. The other option is that they surpass space-time as a whole, which is more classically depicted as them being able to move through a world that is effectively "frozen" in time. In this, more fantastical, option, you would be able to interact with things as anything that comes into contact with "you" is affected normally, as it surpasses space-time the same way you do. The more realistic you want to get about time-stopping, the more problems you encounter. You state that stopping time would make air solid and you'd die suffocate. But that creates new problems, like, why are "you" only unfrozen, what parts of you are unfrozen, what even is "you". TL:DR; Don't apply physics to things which are about surpassing physics.

Since I was a child I have dreamed of a different kind of time-device, like a savings bank. When you wait for a train, stand in line somewhere or are just bored for whatever reason, you put in a couple of minutes or half an hour, which you can then use at a later time when you want/need it. Learning for an exam, having a nice time with a friend who has to leave at a certain time to catch a train etc. I spent much of my childhood and teenage years waiting for trains or being on them way before smart phones were a thing. I had lots of time thinking about the nitty gritty details of this device.

I have a question about time machines. So we know that it would take you forwards or backwards in time, but does that also move your space. What I'm trying to get at is if you go forward in time would you being Underground considering how far you move forward in time and how much sediment builds up. Or will be space around your time machine be altered to make it so you are still at ground level. Or vice versa if you go far enough back in time will your time machine drop a little because the ground is lower than it was.

It would only be possible to go forward in time if fate exists (which I doubt) So you would only possibly go back in time, but you are right about the place thing.

The HG Wells book the Time Machine, applies that the machine doesn't move and it got covered over and took 1000s of years to be uncovered by errosion. After that its been more common in fiction to apply your travel through another dimension and materialize instantly at your location with location in space also changed, the idea if your manipulating time the relativistic effects of space are irrelevant. (which is lame depending on the writing).

I can relate to the party one. When someone asks me about my life,I don't know anything. What day is today? What did I do this week,month,year? It's just such an unpleasant feeling.

Only the End of the World answer would not create some form of paradox/butterfly effect purely because it’s the only one that travels forwards, not backwards

I have a few questions that seem fun and intriguing to answer!! (Hopefully) 1. How is the world going to end? 2. What two celebrities would have the cutest babies?(genders do not have to be applied) 3. Who is most likely to...(with the actors, producers, writers, anyone on the College Humor team) 4. What is going to break the internet? 5. If you changed one aspect of humanity, what would it be? 6. What would you do with 10 billion dollars? 7. What laws would you make (or repeal) as supreme ruler of the world? 8. What is the most/least useful super power to have? 9. If you could change one thing about human anatomy what would it be? 10. What is the closest thing to real magic? I love you videos!! They’re so funny and relatable! I hope you continue to dig deeper into fun and questionable topics! 🤔😜💕

fertility drugs that result in multiples work by increasing the number of eggs released during ovulation. But identical result from a single fertilized egg that splits creating two embryos. Identical triplets/quadruplets are extremely rare and identical multiple birth in any greater quantity has never be recorded.
