I've Been using Olaplex and Moroccan oil products so I've been getting some great results but listening to Chris explain the necessity of leave in conditioner and oil on the ends, has brought my hair to the next level. Also hearing Chris break the myth on trimming split ends constantly… (uhg! I had super long hair which is now not super long because I listened to the myth)…Thank you Chris for saving my damaged hair and for spilling all the tea on Hairdresser's secrets😁 So glad I found this channel. ❤️

Please listen and follow this man! Because of YOU CHRIS I have an awesome head of healthy hair! I found you and binged all your videos. My hair was damaged, dry, breaking and not keeping a style. I followed all your advice: identified my hair type and changed my products and hair routine. I get all kinds of complements, my hair dresser said I walked in and my hair looks very healthy. I wash only 2 times a week and my style is maintained. Basically, you are a Hair GURU! The results were immediate and it just keeps getting better. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart!

I would have this channel’s videos randomly keep popping up in my feed, I would watch a few but just wrote them off as just another influencer trying to sell me stuff that wasn’t going to do anything. One video about how to grow my hair out caught my eye, and then I fell down the Chris rabbit hole. I realized that Chris recommends the same few products constantly so I gave just the shampoo a try and WOW! I immediately got 3 compliments on my hair the week after I used the shampoo, once! I then bought the conditioner, leave in and oil, and what a difference! Having naturally curly hair, these products have brought life back to my curls! These products work! I wish I would have tried them after the first time I saw a video.

Have you ever reviewed bumble and bumble all style blowdry cream? When I don't use it, my hair gets gross much faster, it has micro powders in it which absorb oil. So for a person like me who struggles to arrive at the end of day 2 without looking horrible, it's a game changer. It might take away a little shine but I definitely wouldn't change this for fewer clean hair days.

My small redken bottle lastet around 6 months, I double cleanse and wash my hair every 2-4 days. I do alternate some other schampoos but I quess with the cleansing Shampoo and redken combined they can last 6 months if you wash your hair less. The big bottle has to last a year or so... totally worth it, if you have problems with your hair.

Yeah I get your point that the more expensive stuff lasts way longer and is therefore really affordable. But if you are low income and struggle paying bills, food etc then even pitching in once to get the expensive stuff is really not possible. Even paying 20 Euro's for Shampoo, Conditioner and Oil (so all in all around 60) is a huge stretch for a lot of people. Would really love to know what actually is the best in the really low budget section.

In fairness, the first time I grew out my hair, I had no idea that I could go somewhere other than the supermarket or the chemist. In my mind, a fancy brand was one that could afford to advertise on television. It didn't occur to me that there were other places to even buy products (this was early 00s so Internet shopping wasn't such a big deal). Also, if proper fancy stuff like make up and perfume we're sold in places like Boots Chemist, then why not believe that the same is true of shampoo and conditioner? I do know that's really not right, but I can see how I and others fell into that. Plus I was broke. Anything with an advertising budget was at the very top of my price range if I wanted to eat value range spaghetti that week.

Last few years I’m using only professional hair products, and don’t understand when someone say it’s expensive. I bought 300ml shampoo for £30 and it last me a year, literally a 1 whole year and I wash my hair 3x a week. And it’s same with conditioner. Sometimes I want try new shampoo but I can’t because I still have plenty left and I don’t want to waste it😀 my partner has long hare and was using cheap shampoo from drugstore because his not gonna spent that much money for shampoo, so I bought him professional shampoo, his never come back to drugstore since than 😀

Any recommendations for fragrance free products? I'm currently using Vanicream shampoo and conditioner which is fragrance free, but my scalp gets dry and itchy after 24 hours. I wash my fine hair every other day. I air dry. No after shower products because finding fragrance free products that work has been a massive waste of my time and money. I also can't use anything with salicylic acid. So the Pulp Riot recommendations are a double can't use for me because it has fragrance AND salicylic acid.

Hi Chris I really like Your channel on which I’ve stumbled, looking for a video: How to properly apply a hair mask. I‘ve got say how happy I am, that You‘ve decided to help people with their hair, instead of going to Hollywood, because the way You talk, look and act You could be, one of Hollywood‘s Finest, no Joke. I‘m pretty new to this topic because in the last 57 years, I‘ve always wore my hair very short, sometimes with some kind of pattern shaved on the head. But my girlfriend asked me: What do You think about letting Your hair grow long? And I agreed, and that‘s where I am now. My hair-type is VERY fine, thin and dry hair which make me crazy because every 2.nd day after I‘ve washed them, they become static and then they part and are impossible to tame or form them, to make the look good. Do You have an idea, what I can do about this static thing that‘s happening? Last question: Due to my fine, thin hair, I’m using volume shampoo and volume conditioner, do You have another trick to get as much volume as I can get? Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 The Heidi & Cheese Land

I've tried a bunch high end to low, and after watching a Brad Mondo video where he tested a bunch, I actually settled on the herbal essences white grapefruit and mimosa. Honestly, way better at absorbing grease than some of the higher end, and the bottles don't clog like the oribe, lviing proof and drybar ones did. I was so mad actually, I spent like 30$ on one of the high end at sephora, and it literally clogged after two uses for oribe, and the living proof only lasted like a week. Anyways, I tried a bunch at the drugstore, and the herbal essence one didn't leave a white cast on my dark brown hair, it smelled good, and leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh. So, if you can't find one you like give that one a try, I think it's like 6$.

Healthier, surprisingly longer.. but it's sort of boring 😂 I'm not using a heat iron of any kind so I can keep the "health", but the hair's stick straight. I guess I should get some high- and low-lights to damage the hair up some, to get something poufier? Regardless, it's really grown at least 2" or more this past month, no need for a trim. (Using a bit of the oil daily after using a pick to detangle.) Thx.

Im LMAO! I just purchased that small bottle hes swinging around & I havent used it yet...Im praying !! I purchased that hair oil...OMGosh, it smells AWESOME! My hair is unhealthy, dry & breaking. When I went to Sallys to ourchase Olaplex the young lady there tried talking me into purchasing a brand named Bondbar, which she said is a "less expensive knock off of Olaplex.".... So I left, LOL, I later purchased the 2 Olaplex products recommended by Chris elsewhere. Until Chris says,"Hey ladies, there's this great brand out there called Bondbar....", Im only going to use what he recommends! I ruined my hair bleaching it. The tears I cried for months as my hair broke & broke until it became shoulder length. Then I couldnt understand why my roots were getting longer bylut my length wasn't...Chris explained why & of course I felt like a mOron! Now, if he doesnt advise or suggest, I dont do it or use it! Hopefully, itll start getting longer again now that Im using what hes advises. I wish he was located in my state! I trust no hairdressers any longer.l but somehow, this young man has made me feel like MAYBE this isnt a losing battle!💞

You really have to massage it into your scalp with the scrubber though. I was doing it wrong for along time. I’ve tried to buy the products you recommend for fine hair but the colour fanatic leave in conditioner and the pulp riot Boston shampoo and conditioner aren’t available in the UK. Any suggestions? Your own shop doesn’t seem to sell to the UK either. Will that ever change?

Quick question up front: I do not have color treated hair... is the Purology Color Fanatic Leave-In Conditioner the best choice for my hair? Or would you recommend Redken One United Leave-In Conditioner? Hey Chris! I've been watching your videos for about a month now, and I've been wanting to start my healthy hair journey but the cost seemed a bit too high. However, after breaking it down to the cost per week, it is absolutely doable and I cannot wait to invest in my hair! I've always considered to be "hair handicapped", and my nickname when I was in my 20's was "ponytail girl", and now in my 40's, you could easily nickname me "bun lady". I've had long hair most of my life, but I almost always put it up in some form or another. I'm just not good at "doing" my hair. That being said, I'm done. I want more for my hair and I'm going to invest in it and get good at doing my hair. Your videos are so incredibly helpful and I appreciate you breaking everything down and providing the science behind all of it so it makes sense to anyone. I hear you say that it's a chemical reaction which makes so much sense! THANK YOU!

Click on the word below the visual screen that say “more” in dark print. A scene to the side comes up. There is a link. You can print it out too. Sometimes it doesn’t connect and I keep trying it. Not the best but it works . Took me a few times.

Hello, I just watched this video and wanted to know your thoughts air drying. I never blow-dry my hair, because I don't look like heat damage, no one does . Thanks

I know you're the blowout professor, but if I airdry my hair and it already lasts 3-4 days between washes and I wake up with decent waves, can I just use better products to get waves that are better defined and stay longer?

Wait, I have naturally wavy hair. Usually after a leave in, I use a moisturizing curl cream. If I switch my products out, I’m guessing I won’t need a curl cream since I would be using better products, correct?

Why do you recommend shampoos with Sodium laureth sulfate? I used the products you recommended, and now I am going bald in the front. The Redkin shampoo made my scalp itch and burn, so much hair fell out. There are studies that show Sodium laureth sulfate can be contaminated during manufacturing, which has been known to cause cancer!

Hi there Chris, I have long, thick, layered hair that's color treated. I do blow dry (to get rid of any natural curl in back and sides) then use hot rollers as it's easier and faster than a curling iron. What do you recommend to put on my hair when it's dry and before putting in the hot rollers to hold the curls? I have Pureology color fanatic, also many Virtue products. Sometimes it seems as the healthier my hair gets, the more my curls don't hold. When I have a good hair day, I have long, sexy, soft curls that hold. I sometimes don't even need to brush it the next day, just run my fingers through. Thanks for your videos and your advice, Chris!
