But when you're at low mmr, they expect you to be there always for them to be a good mid laner, that's what I can see to this guardian puck player, because his team does not understand why he'd shove lane right, so basically you were forced to go helping other lanes instead of doing things that your teammates won't understand.

@Povb Gvir yes. So much yes. My play style has always been very extending to the max and baiting rotations. A lot of the times I just feed. But if I have a good communication day I say, I’m doing *this*, team come behind me, antimage do antimage things and show in another lane. 9/10 this call works and we win the game off of it if my team listens.

I’m divine now, but it’s true, people in low mmr expect mid to be babysitting them with gank over and over again, and if you do listen you’ll fall off hard late game

That 's not true. If you are playing properly as a mid laner you would create pressure away from your safelaner, meaning your safelaner will be free farming. You shove mid --> go gank the enemy's safelaner ---> enemy team will respond to you.

@Povb Gvir You can but it's not advised. Generally you want to play away from your safe laner and create pressure in other lanes, so the enemy responds to that other lane. If you are constantly ganking your safe lane, the enemy will bring more numbers in your safe lane, meaning your carry can't farm. Also, your carry will have to use resources (mana / cooldowns / health) or even risk dying to help you gank his lane. Also, usually its easier to gank / kill the enemy carry since generally carry heroes are squishier early game than offlaners. Imagine ganking the enemy's safelane, tower diving him and some shit and forcing the opponents offlane to tp respond. Now your safe lane is completely freefarm for your carry.

In Guardian Puck defense - I’ve noticed lower mmr games go better if you stay around your teammates being ready to fight all the time. There is no logic in 60% of the fights happening but if you are not with your team and they die you instantly become the bad “ farm all game” guy, they start flaming and the game is pretty much over. :/ I believe this goes up to ancient if not even higher mmr… I’ve had more success adjusting to my team and playing incorrectly which is unfortunate. I can’t wait to be in a bracket where people understand the game really well. Ps. I am not saying I’m the best and my teammates suck, I’m not THIS guy 😁

Dude exactly, I'm a support main since no one likes to waste money warding and when I carry, my support likes to take all the uncontested last hits and never pressure enemy off lane. All they do is pull our lane and stay in jung witch just makes me fall behind and have to sit in tower cuz I'll end up getting double waved while 1v2ing. When I carry I never get supported. Usually both enemies will be pressuring in lane since that's is priority since one wave of creeps is like killing a hero yet my suppoty insist on farming the small camp that provides no xp, doesnt stack the bigger camps, and stays in jungle farming while both enemies are fighting me in lane. Thats while i usually choose heroes that can carry and support like monkey king. I havr a 80 pervent win rate as mk support but wheneveri say ima mk support my idiot teammats always think they know whats best for others and will make me mid against some op mid god like storm even tho i called support , built support and said i was supportbefore any one could even pick heroes. But when I actually get to support and my carry can't last hit for shit, which is most of the time I have to step up and deny, pressure AND last hit so that we at least get xp and someone gets gold instead of nobody. 90 percent of the team my carries just stand right by the creep they wanna last hit without attacking the enemy hero right next to them lol would rather flame me for saving xp from creeps than pressuring the enemy so that we can get ez last hits and i can then zone them off wave AND jungle camps. Problem is so much people only care about their stats that they play way to passive and let the enemy farm all they want. Then they usually blame support for their own mistakes like charging into a fight solo when i called out that im warding and stacking lol. I can't blink across map as a chen or treant. That's why I usually mk sup cuz he's beast in every role and can carry SD support if needed. However I usually end up carrying my games as support anyways since in low mmr all people do is watch twitch a yt thinking that's how you're supposed to play. Never once adapting and thinking for themselves I will rant to your rant because I feel we have similar playstyles. My whole thing is about adapting to my team since no matter how good my decision making is and map awareness it won't compensate for my teammates lack of it. So basically I'll have end up following my carries around so they don't die while fighting off enemy team being a underleveld supp. Then I usually get flamed for not having farm and items cuz I need to baby sit carries and if I last hit one jungle creep so i can finish an item the carry or mid will act like I fucked their mum and sent them pictures. Anyways I don't play rank cuz requiring your number is just rstupid and obviously they are doing sketchy shit w your number. We should play sometime.. I hate 90 of dotas population. I literally wait to see where my team goes then look at their items and decide which role I need to fill. No one calls what they're building they just act like we all should already know that they're playing a specific role.

@Povb Gvir that's a good idea but I despise subtle pay to win things like that. I'd rather learn from in game which heroes work out. It will benefit my critical thinking more than relying on a Stat tracker to tell me. Not hating on it since its a smart thing to do but I like learning from experience ya know.

That first puck is literally me but im supp main making space for my team by pushing lane taking camps and dewarding everything also just not dying to enemy rotations and ganks and wasting enemies tps and rotation and time only for my team to charge into a fight w o me on the other side of map while the enemy team has vision there. Even After I pinged where they had vision and that they are missing and probably heading towards them lol thats some classic dota I tell you.

Okay, speed one question.. in my low MMR pubs, a lot of time, the reason it feels bad to shove at times it that it never gets shoved back.. do you go once wave longer until they show? Or keep farming it around their shop?
