Your video showed when I googled to get clarification on the Stokes sweet potato. I just had the Japanese Oriental sweet potato with dinner tonight, and it was so sweet and delicious. I've tried it in the past but, this time it tastes so much better. And my all time favorite is the Garnet sweet potatoes. I need to try the Stokes. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, this was helpful! I LOVE sweet potatoes and have tried all of the varieties you've shown here except for the Okinawan. I am currently on a mission to try order some as I haven't been able to find any in my area (NJ). Have you ever tried the Hannah variety? Its taste and flavor is similar to the Japanese potato and they are my favorites!! I do not care too much for the orange flesh ones as they are usually too mushy - unless I roast them a good amount of time. The Stokes is actually my least favorite - while it's the least sweet, I also think it lacks any kind of flavor. A word of caution - if anyone is like me and often microwaves them, be very careful with the Stokes - they are fast to EXPLODE - so make sure you wrap them in enough paper towel or cook covered!! :) Also, if you know of a market or grower willing to ship a pound or two of the Okinawan (Hawaiian) Sweet Potatoes to NJ, please let me know!!

Oh lady I can tell you really love sweet potatoes. Haha so do I, I have tried Hannah sweet potatoes they are pretty 😊 but still can’t compare to the Okinawan sweet potatoes, I mean Okinawan is so unique and sweet. Unfortunately I can’t tell you where you can buy them in NJ. Maybe in some Asian market?
