From experience watching all 82 games + playoffs past 3 years, I can assure you McDavid and Dri will be targeted if Barkov is a no go. If it was anyone else on the panthers, maybe not so much of retaliation. But Barkov is the most soft-spoken and kindest person on the team. He goes down, blood’s flowing.

If he's really accountable, then he should own up for his very dumb play of leaving his feet and putting a forearm into Barkov's head(the replay video does not lie!)! It was intentional and if it were reviewed by the League properly, he would be suspended for a game or 2.

Lol, he’s that kid got lit-up by Bennet in the Edmonton’s RD-Zone corner. It was a great hit between Bennet and Tkachuk and it was a squeaky clean hit, nothing dirty about that hit at all lol other than him getting hit so hard, he was airborne and dropped his stick. I'm curious how the officiating will be making calls in Game 3. My sense is they will call the ticki-tacki stuff on the Panthers to give the Oilers PP's and ignore some calls that should be called on the Oilers. As of right now, the Oilers PP is powerless. The Oilers seemed to be outclassed playing the game even strength against the Panthers.

Crosby never had a Leon on his line. Malkin was on the team but wasn’t thrown on Crosby’s line trying to score. Same with Ovi. He almost never had a player comparable to Leon on his team

How can all 3 of them not see that, when there job is to watching the puck every second for icing, offside etc. Need refs that are going to be fair to both teams and not favor one over the other. This is why Mcdavid is NOT the best player in the NHL. Yes he is exceptionally skilled... The most skilled, one of the smartest and fastest players in the league. Works very hard. Holds himself accountable. But seriously, best player in the league?... Barkov is showing that he is better. Sidney Crosby would never dance around the ice in very important playoff games. He understands the futility of this. Mackinnon and Kucherov have both shown they are better players than Mcdavid. Why? Because they too can put up 130+ points and win Stanley Cup. You are very good Mcdavid. But not great yet. Tighten up defensively. Maybe call up Johnathon Toews for some ques for leadership... After this series, call Barkov and do some training with him. Change your style. Who cares about getting 150 points if it sacrifices defense, emphasis on power play. (Where the LA King's won the cup without a power play goal. So stop relying on this so much) and play better two-way. Oh and why don't you take a discount why you are at it. You want to win?... Look at Crosby in Pittsburgh, look at Stamkos in Tampa.
