I've discussed this before with my queer brethren, but I'm starting to think Shulz is closeted to some degree and incapable of being normal about it. Like, he went on about these hypotheticals for a _while,_ longer than I would expect a straight man to - I was honestly more alarmed at how intricate he got about explaining himself than by just the fact of the rape remark itself, which was merely very stupid and cruel for no reason. With all he's invested in being a cool-enough tagalong (in his own mind, natch) for the other mean kids, it sounds like he's just decided 'all right, edgelord talk is the only way I can express desire for black men, anything less violent is too gay'. @cv849924 күн бұрын
That's the key right there! Good humor requires intelligence, and Shultz, despite his college education, isn't very smart. So he goes for the lowest hanging fruit he can, and courts the bottom of the barrel for his audience. Sadly, that ends up working because there are so many guys at the bottom of the barrel. Josh Johnson, meanwhile, is killing it with his comedy. Always smart, funny, insightful, and fast! All without having to shit on any marginalized group. Proves it can be done, but you need brains and creativity to pull it off.

As a white dude, Schulz is terrible. He has never made me laugh, he is whiney, has no wit. He basks in the shit that is the Roganverse. Tom Sugura, Bert Kreischer, Brendan Shaub, Bryan Callen, Ari Shaffir, all make me cringe rather than laugh. Tony Hinchcliffe, while he bombed with that puerto rican joke and should be ridiculed, has made me laugh on occasion and generally has some skill, but his Ego is too inflated by the Rogan sphere of influence he sometimes comes off as cringy as the rest, which is sad to see. Even Rogan I don't consider a comedian, he is really not that funny, just a great conversationalist. He got some fame in the comedy world for calling out Carlos Mencia for stealing jokes, but if you compare the two, Mencia and Rogan have the same shtick. These podcasters/comedians are indeed the 'mumble rappers' of our time.

Yo!!!! I love the title of this video. And of course "Adolf Schulz" came from King Green. In one of my first comments I called Schulz "SS-looking". Glad I'm not the only one who sees and hears it. This whole situation reminds me of Spike Lee's joint Bamboozled. There's a scene in there where this Italian guy basically says he more black than anyone. I'm going to say it again. I didn't even think of Andrew Shulz being referenced by Kendrick until I read other people commenting about it online. To me Kendrick was being pretty general because it's not a unique topic of jokes for any single White comedian. Andrew can play off his original statements as jokes or whatever but in every joke there’s a bit of the joker’s true feelings there. The fact that Andrew responded the way he did shows a lot of things about who he is. 1) He is extremely sensitive about his Whiteness. 2) He's willfully ignorant of any topic outside of his own "culture". 3) He knows he's guilty of talking about things he shouldn't be. 4) He's a coward who is afraid to admit he might be wrong. 5) He's a mentally lazy joke teller, going for low brow comedy. 6) He's insecure in his own manhood.

The fact that he never says the N word shows how he knows there is a line.

“Comedy in its mumble rap era” is a barrrrrr! Also, this is the first place I’ve seen someone mention buck-breaking with regard to this situation, so good on you for that.

Comedians and rappers used to be not so sensitive, every celebrity is an over paid child

They used to call him alt-right Andy when he was hanging with CTG - he hated it, I suggest we bring it back 😂 great video guys. I’ve hated this era of “I’m gonna say hateful/racist/vile/misogynistic/bigoted/gross stuff about (insert non-white male person or people here) and if THEY don’t think it’s funny - they are the sensitive ones. Or they just don’t get it. Na, you are just not smart enough to craft a good comedy set.

I don't think that'll work anymore, he wasn't this big back then so charlamagne and Chris could try to make him understand. Now he just shuts it out by speaking over people and not letting them get their point out.

There was a black dude sitting there when he was shooting his shot laughing about it Kendrick said COMEDIAN!!! I still don't know why bro thought imitating Andrew Dice Clay who was saying this shit in the late 80s early 90s and got chopped by MTV made him a comedian. Like get outta here 🤣🤣🤣
