Regarding the models in the Leo opening looking worse than Taro - good observation, Leo was produced around the time of a big oil shortage, the ramifications of which led to a hiatus once it wrapped. Resultingly, everything comes across as cheaper looking because that was the state of the current economy.

Oh, and yes, the Towards the Future/Great opening really just looks like that lol. Both that one and The Ultimate Hero/Powered were filmed in English speaking countries, but were barely shown outside of Japan anyway. Towards the Future was Tsuburaya's first attempt at having an international company make Ultraman...and for many reasons, The Ultimate Hero was the last. These days, they just license out their own shows for other countries to dub.

As shown by the beginning of the video your react to it is split into many section of: Main series Canon spin off/side content Recap Non canon content Official/unofficial english adaptation and unused opening That is the reason why the video is so long, the actual main series opening itself isn't all that much different from kamen rider in how many there are but with all of the other side content it become that long, Ultraman do hold the Guinness world record for having the most spin off

Ultraman Great and Ultraman Powered was the very first Live Action Ultraman to be made outside of Japan. Ultraman Great is currently the first and only Australian Ultraman ever made. As of 2024 Ultraman Powered is the second USA Ultraman ever made (the first one was Ultraman USA) but it's currently the only live action USA Ultraman. As of 2024 So far i think there's 3 countries that have their very own Ultraman (official): Australia, Malaysia, and the USA.

Ultraman is a long running franchise and so just like any franchises it has divided into many eras, and those were: The Showa Era (Ultra Q - Ultraman Powered) The Heisei Era (Ultraman Tiga - Ultraman Zero) The New Generation Era (Ultraman Ginga - Ultraman Taiga) The Reiwa Era (Ultraman Z - Most recent Ultraman show which is Ultraman Arc) Some Notes: Some people say Ultraman Great and Ultraman Powered is the start of the Heisei Era but most would say it was Ultraman Tiga since it's the first Japanese Ultraman show since it's hiatus. There's a kinda a debate on whether Ultraman Z is part of the New Generation Era or not.
