I wore a pumpkin one on Halloween made some younger kids happy at a stop light. I'm going to wear a Christmas one to go see my nephews and nieces because they really enjoy seeing it. I don't wheelie or do stunts and am otherwise a normal rider. A guy I ride with told me he thinks it's lame, but he admitted that the reaction of the kids at the stop light was good times. I would never wear it every day because it's annoying as hell to wear and I'm not looking to get attention like that.

You can use normal roadways and turn lanes to bypass a light. When you cut through a Gas station or private lot, you then are avoiding a traffic control device. But a right turn into a left turn lane and U-turn is 100% legal.

I ride my 600 at college and I’ve only gotten positive reactions from my clown fish helmet cover, whether it be people walking, driving or riding. I’m sure somebody thought it was cringe and I just didn’t notice but I don’t really care that much. I like it. It’s silly but it brings me and others joy. People wanna hate on helmet covers because they say they’re only for people who want attention. I’d wager that 90% of what people do concerning their bike is for attention. New plastics, louder exhaust, rev bombing, riding gear that fits their persona, speeding/wheelies and then posting it online for likes. A lot of the sport bike community is for attention. People just want something to hate on.

One time we did go down one in our town that you either have to crawl or we used skateboards are kinda rolled on our bellies but even that was too small for me 😂 I definitely wouldn’t do it again, normal size tunnels or caves where I can at least crouch in?
