This is being done to ameliorate the damage being done to the reputation of RVers in general and full-time RVers and van dwellers in particular, and to encourage the creator(s) of the video identified in the title to provide more accurate content and provide links to the documents referenced.

I've checked that out with a second browser I never sign into youtube, keeping my cookies for my channel off it, see just as a viewer. When compared to the browser I use with my shadow banned cookies by him, the view and comments are different then.

I agree with you. I live full time in my truck camper. I work a full time job & contribute to society in all the same ways that I did while living in a house. I am very open about my lifestyle with friends, family, coworkers, clients & anyone who will listen. I love this lifestyle & love talking about it. I don’t try to hide or be stealthy, but I don’t intentionally try to provoke or antagonize anyone with my lifestyle choice either. I make sure to choose where I park carefully so that I am not aggravating anyone & I be sure to not overstay my welcome. I have never had any issues & have never been asked to leave. In fact, I have had police cars park near me & never knock on my door or ask me to leave. I think as long as you are respectful in where you choose to park & obeying the law no one really cares. I have watched the channel that this video is about and I believe he overdramatizes everything in an effort to get more views & provoke controversy.

Rhonda and I live in a stick and brick house and take our 5th wheel out as often as possible. As you are aware we all were at LOLApoloza . We had participants that showed up with motorcycles that tent camped all the way to folks that had Million dollar rigs. I personally witnessed the main park ranger ask Lola to have the get to gather at this park again because in his words "you were the best campers that we have ever had at this park" We met so many fine people there and I would say any of them are welcome to stay in front of my house or my driveway. I don't know much about The Little House channel. I have seen some recent episodes. I don't know if what Rob is saying is completely factual but he does appear to be reporting his experiences as he perceives them. When he talks about people littering,being disrespectful, acting irresponsibly and so forth I too have observered those things. Clearly as he shares his negative experiences it upsets people. I don't know why sharing not only your good experiences but also talking about negative things that happen to you are so unnerving?

I was a follower of Robs from the start, but he changed after the fire and after his wifes daughter passed. He was against anyone and everyone that said ANY thing good about van life, nomad living, etc. He has said recently they are getting back in a house in the spring. I did enjoy following his DREAM in the beginning but now ... I just wish him and his wife to go home and be happy.

When you live as a nomad other nomads are drawn to you...like birds of a feather, ..but Rob is the opposite, he wants no contact with other nomads, has even made it known he doesnt approve of other Nomads on YT, and yet he tries to make money from YT likes and subscribes. I think little house on the road and traveling as a nomad were part of his dream but it failed. I still wish him and his wife the best in what ever they do.

He doesn't live in the middle of nowhere, he lives right by a main road. OMG, thats who you're talking about!!! I commented before watching the whole video . His neighbors probably dont want to see their underwear hanging from the trees. He seems to carefully edit the videos so you cant see the nice houses surrounding him.

I think little house on the road makes some really good points and has some really good observations that is not being talked about in most channels. Just like many channels he does sensationalize to some stories to make a point that people really need to consider if they choose the lifestyle.

Indeed ... It really bugs me that he seems to think everyone who drives a van can somehow be called a 'Nomad". He makes zero distinction on these stories. And I looked up that story conclusively ..there are simply no stories or evidence that show even a tiny bit of information that can lead anyone to think that guy was even living in his van ..in actuality the updated info on that story seems to be that the guy was just your garden variety nutjob who had a gun and was threatening the cops ... it was just some weird crazy scenario that happens everywhere in large metro areas and has nothing to do with vanlife... This is Robs story in a nutshell , he a newbie on the road with a serious streak of paranoia going on ..who like lots of other people seem to think what he see's on the internet is the only thing going on out there... And I don't believe one bit that Rob is getting attacked in Facebook groups by a bunch of vandwellers who are saying that we need to start a war with homeowners ..or that it's ok to tell Walmart to F-Off ... I imagine given that this is America ,there are one or two idiots that might post something like that ..but that's not what Rob is trying to pull off here... He wants his Subs to believe he's the Voice of Reason being viciously attacked by the entire Van Life community because they know Robs exposing their evil plan and wants to shut him up... In another video posted by little house a homeowner ended up shooting at a van dweller who was dumping tanks on the curb in front of his house. What about all the trash left behind by others. This man is only describing how all nomads are being painted with a broad brush due to the disrespect shown by some. His advice is to be aware. Try parking across from my brothers house and living there. Then you say people have been doing this for decades. Now that everyone has the idea they have become obvious. I thought at first that Rob was really trying to help people and tell them the reality of van life or nomad life. Now with all the videos he pumps out about how bad it is out there, I think he's just doing it for views. He keeps on saying they are going to quit the vanlife and be homesteaders but yet here he is every day complaining about these news stories and sometimes doesn't even touch on the subject in his thumbnail. Rob of "little house off grid", started after his on the road channel failed, is now failing to grow, so now he's started yet another channel called "Off Grid News", and he's back to his same anti-social "skill set". kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6qzpqB-ic2NfMU For instance, here's one exchange to display how he reacts to fairly innocuous comment, that actually was in agreement with him. Rob had been talking in his videos about raising pigs next year. He also mentioned his video lengths and how longer wasn't good, in his opinion. So Joe Ford replied to him with "Rob, I think 11-12 minutes is the best length, forget the pigs!" Nothing wrong with that, but Rob's answer to him was "I don't understand why you think you have authority over me. I will raise and eat whatever I want! That is called Freedom. And errogaint (sic) people like you are why we are losing it!" So, I know he see's what I shadow ban posted to him, telling him the guy didn't attack him and his reaction is why his channel fails to grow. Now of course he's deleted it, or I failed to find it again. He'll never change. All he wants is total agreement with him, and effusive praise to his ego. Total lack of understanding discussion, and fails to realize how HE is the one killing his own channel. Also discovered all who were shadow banned on his "house off grid" channel, he actually had all of them banned on his new channel before he started it, LOL. I gave him other advice in a reply to this.

He complains about how he wants to grow his cannel, but he NEVER listens to anyone, only the voices in his head. ----------> "Suggestions for success. Don't shadow ban people who disagree with you at times. Accept criticism. Don't assume those who offer alternatives or advice, often different from what you may, are trolls. Don't retain ONLY comments which you agree with, or you feel praises you. Learn to accept a broader concept of discussion. Don't assume it's only all about you. Don't attack those who visit your new channel. Understand others live in different circumstances, have different needs and desires than you. Leave troll posts, they likely will be attacked by other comments anyway. I never monetize, but those who do, realize a channel needs to be a "community", not just a one man, over moderated, personal support group. The more comments, the quicker a channel grows. Don't be quick to take offense. Let the "tares and wheat" grow together on it. Just look at political channels, and how people on every side of any issue are there together, even heatedly, but wow how many comments they do gather, which coming from all sides of issues, still grow. When people feel cut off on a channel, then they tend to cut off that channel from their watching list, and eventually it begins dying. In other words, don't put up a "No Trespassing" sign by how you administer it, or like someone with such a sign on their property, you will see fewer showing up to visit, as time passes. Be sociable. Let others offer their opinons on what I've mentioned, they may have some advice too."

Hi Joe. I still watch Rob's old channel even though I am blocked from posting on both channels. I don't usually watch his new channel simply because I don't share his sense of humor. I think he has simply run out of content on the original channel, and refuses to try any new activities. Thanks for posting.

I watch most of Rob's videos, I'm not homeless or a nomad, which regardless of what you say, is the same thing in my eyes as a homeowner. I think Rob's perception of what people who own homes really think. I also believe that you aren't as inconspicuous as you think. People in small communities or even smaller subberbs know when something or someone is out of place, trust me! And I'm certain Rob is correct on federal, state, and local municipalities shutting down the "free lifestyle" at least free camping anyway just by the fact that paid campgrounds are closing here in Illinois and not just state parks either but federal parks. And I do camp, so I know what I am saying in regards to this. And who knows maybe nomads/homeless are the reason my Army Corp of Engineer parks are closing! You say you are still paying taxes and whatnot, how's that, sales tax!? You are living on public property that local homeowners and businesses pay for, not you! I'm not fact checking either of you, this is just my perspective of what both of you are saying. And I'm sure you are helping his channel just as much as your own

Hello. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion about matters of opinion. However, you have some of the facts wrong: I am not a full time RVer; I actually own two "stick and brick" houses...one in Tennessee and one in Mississippi, and am back and forth between the two places. I pay property taxes on both of them and also on a tiny vacant lot that I own in Tennessee. Thanks for watching and commenting.

You give the impression that you are full-time since you're critiquing someone who is, although I have heard Rob reference having an address in MO, but it appears he is truly living the lifestyle and that maybe you just camp between trips to and from your multiple homes

@@MikeConner88 I am not critiquing Rob's camping abilities; in fact, in my video of 8 Dec 2019, I acknowledge his abilities. My concerns are the click-bail thumbnails and the numerous errors of fact that he includes in his videos, both of which serve to disparage full-time RVers unfairly. Maybe you should watch some more of my vids to understand me a little better. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@MikeConner88 Yes it is a type of clickbait, but it's not deceptive. The titles on my thumbnails accurately state what the video is about. Little House video thumbnails are often misleading, in my opinion. Look, you are welcome to be a supporter of Little House on the Road and to like what he says and does. If I am untruthful in what I say, by all means, point that out, but if it's just a matter of opinion, that's my right, just like your opinion is your right. I have written all I want to write; if you choose to reply, you will have the last word.
