11:07 If "the church" didn't complain about being labeled" non-essential", don't just shame "the church" for not standing up to the "decision-makers". Take that opportunity for some collective self-reflection. Is it Pastors we are expecting to rise up? Or laity? Or denominational leadership? Who do you refer to as "the church"? I hope you're not going to shame the laity if they don't experience themselves as "essential services" to the community. Look at those who make decisions about what activities these "churches" are stating as their agenda and putting on their callendar. Compare their activities with those considered "essential" and ask why that's not on the agenda? What did Jesus actually tell us to do? Why are we not doing that? What would happen in our communities if we were actually doing that?
