What’s Your USP? |

Have you ever been in a competitive selling situation? Well, the reality is as a real estate agent you are always in a competitive situation. Everyone you talk to knows a real estate agent, whether it's a family member, a friend, or a co-worker's spouse. So, the question I have for you is ... what are you doing to become THE go-to agent in your marketplace?
The first step to staying top-of-mind and winning more listings is to formulate your USP (Unique Selling Proposition). Your USP is what makes you stand apart from the crowd, what's memorable about you, and why the client should select you over the competition.

Help me please..... I have been behind the development of an online solution for our business which is the first of its kind in our country. It's making the process far far faster for procurement of uniforms in large businesses and is a tool which has been available in the UK/AU for a few years now. We know a few Large competitors are starting to develop this here and my boss is reluctant to share our new tool on our website for public access in order to protect us from being overtaken or copied by these large competitors? How do i convince him that hiding our key UVP will only hold back our Business development and inbound marketing teams from getting new business before these competitors have tool (no its not our only USP - we have faster delivery and are a small to med player to provide better service than the big guys).

Biggest takeaway - 1) If you don't have a USP then you are just another Realtor. 2) Use your USP in your marketing, voicemail, etc…
