The fact that you’ve gotten the Toor Collections curator into your podcast is going to be awesome for the Punjabi community!! I remember seeing so much of the toor collection in your instagram posts and it’s an art to preserve these relics which contain so much of our shared history. Cant wait to tune in on the 32nd

So, this podcast evoked a lot of thoughts as i was listening and now rhat I've finished I wanted yo share some of that here: 1) it shocks me that there were feviews as mentioned of hero worship. I've not come across these myself but it was a reservation I had before I went because the way Maharaja Ranjit Singh has been spoken about is almost like a mythical figure. This wasn't the case when i went there and i was suprised by this myself. I think the exhibition did a bery good job of not falling into the hero worship category which it easily could have. I actually learned a lot, seeing the armour was actually amazing. Seeing the paintings of the funeral really brought into perspective that these were not just Sikhs but Indians for good or bad have/were practicing customs/rituals which they would have been exposed to vy aimply living in the same place. I honestly didn't expect ot to be as educational as it was. 2) It was great to know and learn everything about how these sprt of exhibitions and museums wprk in the background which I havent done before. 3) I agree that there needs to be more of a push to just want to engage more with culture and history. And I have seen a shift in my circles in recent years. I think you have a lot to do with that as well, people who I wouldn't have thought would be interested in huying books have bought books from your site. 4) When it comes to the future, personally i would have loved to see more on the fall of Punjab itself. Thanks for the exhibition and the podcast :)
