Everyone who is or have doubted their salvation….please listen. The very FACT that you are concerned about it, is a strong indication that you are saved. Non-believers/Fake believers do not stress over whether or not they are saved. Salvation is foolishness to them because they are dead to the things of God. Be encouraged brothers and sisters ❤😊

@@quezpreaches - You are welcome. And actually, I do understand because I’ve doubted my salvation. But, at the same time, I realize that if I could loose my salvation, I would have lost it a long time ago. On the other hand, if I’m not genuinely saved, I would not desire to be saved and know God. Non believers don’t seek after God. The Bible is very clear about that (Ephesians 2). King David’s life is a good example. He was a flawed man and even murdered a good man to cover up his sexual sin. Yet, God said David was a man close to his heart. Your sins will NEVER separate you from God if/once you’re saved (Romans 8). Please know that the God who saves is able to keep you saved (John 10).

I disagree with the rapture part of it as Christ dose not appear three times The reason I disagree can be found in the bible itself and i recommending reading revelation for the exact wording but from my memory it is stated that when he returns THE DEAD WILL RISE FIRST THEN THE LIVING WILL BE CUAGHT UP IN THE AIR AND WILL MEET HIM so no one will be left behind. That is a false doctrine as Jesus only ever states what can be found in revelations and he was born he died was resurrected And ascended he will only come back once and that is at the day of judgement. Often referred to as the day of the lord

Personally, I believe we will meet the Lord in the air at the Last Trumpet. People need to look and see how many times the term "trumpet" is used in reference to our meeting the Lord in the air. Maybe one reason America is a haunt for demons is that Christians are waiting to be raptured out of here, and they're thinking "why should I be concerned with society's decent into a moral blackhole, when I'm not going to be around to deal with it"?

Much thanks to everyone involved in the making of this video. I'm sure I'm not the only believer who's been helped and blessed while going through a season of doubt, and I'm sure God will bless you all for making this resource available to all for their assurance and His glory. The observation that the devil is often involved in making non-believers think they're headed to heaven while also suggesting to believers that they're not really saved is something I never really considered but that lines up with the ways of the kingdom of darkness perfectly. Thanks for that insight. God bless you for it. I'm sure it will go farther than you know. Also, the pointing towards 1 John as a book to read was a great suggestion and I think I'll be going there for a bit in my Bible reading time. Much thanks once again. God bless.

This perspective by nature causes one to look to their own works for assurance of salvation. This is backwards, and I would challenge the interpretation of 1 John used to support it. You must be assured of salvation and forgiveness of sins first, otherwise your righteous deeds are just as stained by sin as you are. What can they prove if you're not certain God has already cleansed them (past tense) from their status as filthy rags? The unsaved man can have love and compassion, bodily discipline, even philosophies that encourage the forgiveness of enemies. How can things able to be possessed by the unsaved ever offer assurance of salvation? Salvation is not something God is selling in return for a changed life. Salvation comes by promises of God, and God does not amend his promises. Trusting God that his promises are true is how you gain assurance of salvation. Then, and only then, can you also be assured that your righteous deeds are accumulating for you any favor in God's eyes. Here are a few promises of God that are trustworthy and true, never to be amended: John 1:12, John 3:14-18, John 5:24, John 6:37-40, John 11:25-26

Others claim various form's of mysticism to be truth etc. My eldest brother died year's ago, he professed faith in Christ during a conversation before he died. My siblings are rage filled and bitter. When we have faith that God knows better than we do and take him at his word instead of trying to fit human ideas like Evolution into the Bible, God's word comes alive. When we see the world through the lens of Scripture (instead of looking at scripture through the lens of the world), everything becomes illuminated.

I’ve been struggling with this question for six years, since I was 11. I want to live a life that honors, obeys, worships, and glorifies Christ. I hate my sin, and I don’t want the world, I want Christ. After all Christ has done for me, why should I not want to serve him?

@Richie Rich the church of Christ is spiritual. It is the body of believers spiritually born again by the Word. The church Paul was referring to actually taught the truth, whereas today they teach a false version. 1 John 2:27 but the anointing which ye have received of him abides IN YOU and ye need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth..... Ephesians 4:21 if so be ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus. This is the authorized kjv verse. Many other bibles have changed Ephesians 4:21 and many other verses to serve man and lead you to the teaching of man. But its true meaning is you are to spiritually hear Jesus' words, being taught by him through the Holy Spirit. You know Jesus did say, that many would come in his name and deceive many.

I would like to share with you what I believe the Bible teaches us about GENUINE saving faith. What does it mean to put our faith in God? It means we put our faith in Him for who He is and what He has done. Our faith in Him begins when we realize that we are a sinner who is spiritually bankrupt and destitute, in need of a Savior, like the publican in Luke 18:13, who said, “… God, be merciful to me, a sinner!” When we recognize God for who He is, we recognize that He is faithful and true to His word. We can fully trust Him to save us as we entrust our lives and souls to Him. This means we trust Him to take over the controls of our lives as we trust in His perfect payment for our sin, dying in our place when He died on the cross. Not only do we need to accept Christ’s death as a penalty for our sin but we must realize and believe that we have been totally justified (made right with God) in Christ through His resurrection from the dead. I Corinthians 15:17 tells us “And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile, you are still in your sins!” We read also in Romans 4:25, “He was delivered to death for our sins, and was raised to life for our justification.” We must put our trust in Christ and what He has done for us completely. We dare not add anything to it like trying to secure our salvation by what we do. If we do this, in effect we are saying to God, what Christ did for me was insufficient to save me. Our faith in Christ must be exclusive of every religious rite, system, teaching, creed, or person, including trusting in ourselves. (Ephesians 2:8,9, Titus 3:4) He is our all sufficiency. When we trust in Him to be our all sufficiency, then He gives us the assurance of salvation just as He tells us in Romans 8:16, which says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” When we believe in Christ in this way, God accepts us in Christ by putting to death our sinfulness in Christ when He died on the cross and by giving us His righteousness through the power of His resurrection. II Corinthians 5:21 says, “He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” (KJV) As it relates to our sanctification, (God conforming us into image of Christ in our daily walk with Him) only the Spirit of Christ can produce the kind of good works that are acceptable to Him. He will do this in and through us as we say no to sin and as we yield to His direction and rely on His power in us by His Holy Spirit. In closing, I John 5:13 says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know you have eternal life.” I hope this helps. God bless.

For many many years I had a persistent unresolvable, condemning lack of assurance, which I have come to recognize as a lack of biblical knowledge. Through all those years I never sought resolution through spending time in Gods word, rather I sought pastoral guidance. That got me nowhere. I found a pastor in 2017 by the name of Joel Webbon who has a whole series on this subject and from that I focused on 1 John and let me tell you the sweet joy of assurance flooded in like the breaking of a dam. You have to be in Gods word, absolutely imperative. From there a joy and hunger came for the scriptures.

@@taylor_almond4274 that’s the good news, but the goods news doesn’t save, it’s the response to the good news that saves, whether that response is actualized in a monergistic or synergistic fashion is irrelevant at this point. I know for a fact the Lord brought me to this video. And I’m so thankful. I would like to confess here in public that I have been a lazy Christian. An unfaithful servant. I have many times kept one foot in the world and one In the kingdom to the point where I might as well have said “lord satan” or “lord Lucifer” whatever you what to call that evil thing. Instead of it meaning the Lord Jesus. Son of God. Jesus who came in the flesh. Mighty God. Who before Abraham was born I Am. I confess not only with my mouth, but with my heart and spirit. Forgive me Lord Jesus. May my brothers and sisters here be my witness. I doubt my salvation often for the reason that I don’t feel I deserve it. And I don’t. I have a hard time forgiving myself or loving myself. I love the Lord. And I don’t want to be with him for eternity simply because I fear hell. I want to be with him because I love him. The thought of being separated from him and being told “I never knew you! Depart from me you evil one!” Would destroy me. It kills me now to think it and makes me very sad. I am glad this video popped up. I’m going to go read 1 John before I retire for the night. Praise you Lord Jesus of Nazareth! God In the flesh.

Our Lord chose Apostles, instructed them. founded His Church, the Roman Catholic Church, on Peter as its head (Matt 16:18), and sent them to baptize and teach all nations to observe ALL that He has commanded (Matt 28:20), so that they may believe in Him through their words (John 17:20) and thus may have eternal life (John 3:16). Our Lord said, "Whoever listens to you, listens to Me. Whoever rejects you, rejects Me and rejects the One who sent Me (Luke 10:16; John 13:20; Matt 10:40)," and "He that believes shall be saved and he that believes not shall be condemned (Mark 16: 15-16)." Whoever rejects Me and does not accept My Words has something to judge him; the word that I spoke, it will condemn him on the last day (John 12:48). If anyone loves Me, he will keep My words (John 14:15,21,23), he that loves Me not, keeps not My words (John 14:24)." Protestant churches reject Our Lord by rejecting teachings of His Church whom He heads and saves (Eph 5:23). People following protestant churches do not realize that they are following wolves in sheep's clothing and, thereby, walking on the broad way to perdition. They say, "Lord, Lord", with insincere hearts, but, at judgement, will hear "I never knew you, depart from Me, you evil doers (Matt 7:23)." Open your eyes, brothers and sisters, and understand the Truth; and save yourselves by returning to His Church where He awaits you with open arms! As we are now living through the tribulations in the end times, time is urgent!

This is a HUGE area of struggle for me and for many of my fellow "support group members" - so much so that a pastor's wife who is also medically challenged and was in our support group created a separate group for those of us who were 100% relying on God's strength, endurance, and perseverance to deal with our chronic pain/suffering. Our group members are not relying on "positive confession" - we are relying on hoping and pressing in to all the available help available to us in God's Word, in our online fellowship, in sharing our daily Bible reading gleanings with one another, our praises, etc. But - one thing bonds us so closely together and helps us so very much: the affliction we share affects our minds in the same way spiritually. Why? None of us have any clue. But, the reality is that we all struggle with deep, dark, haunting, tormenting valleys of gloom and loss of God's assurance and sense that He is "with us through our storm." I sit here today with my "helps" taped on the wall in front of my laptop - snippets of God's Word printed out that I literally must speak out loud to myself and tell myself that the words are valid, the words are true. That God is all good, all truth, all kind, etc. My mind says that I'm a complete loss and a tare and that is the reason for the endless suffering. The old reap/sow deal. We don't ask "why" for the suffering. Our minds are more "why not." We, after all, have committed horrendous abominations against a loving, just, and perfect Almighty God. We suffer the loss of the "joy of salvation" - I'm sharing this because this affliction is fairly new to the medical community - it's an environmental related affliction caused by manmade chemicals/waterdamaged building exposures that more and more people - mostly women - are now suffering from. All that said - sometimes, it appears that God allows suffering to include more than physical pain, He allows mental loss, even a loss of assurance - for His purposes. My personal "arrow" that helps me from spiraling downward is to simply say, "I will love You, even as You fling me into the fire. There is no one above You, no one more Just, more Righteous, than You. My greatest joy is the joy of loving our Almighty God and Savior. I focus on that and remember my stony heart that was turned to flesh - only He could have done that. So - loving Him is my arrow of endurance.

Yes friend, if you read the Bible alone you can understand that PERFECTLY. It's like GOD don't want you to work to be prideful or to prove yourself , I believe when GOD say do everything as if it's for HIM, meaning that we do our good deeds because we know we are save, not to prove HIM we are good enough person. Think about it friend, GOD hates the parashees and prideful people the most. That's how i understand this.

I've struggled with this quite a bit and I do agree that if I person genuinely CARES about their salvation, that's a good sign that their salvation is secure. There have been many times that I didn't "feel" saved. But I believe that God is who He says He is, so I keep moving towards God in spite of my feelings. I think maybe that's one aspect of faith.

I was raised by faithful ‘Christian’ parents and believed and practiced all they taught me: yet I was lost. At around age 30 I began to have doubts probably similar to yours. My solution was to stop pretending to be something I was not and I became an atheist. At age 41 a friend told me that Jesus had saved him, and that the Lord had revealed the fact of sins forgiven and eternal life directly to his spirit, giving him absolute and certain knowledge of Salvation. I began to pray to God for mercy. The Lord made me feel my guilt through and through. I became most miserable, yet I prayed. The Lord set within me a dreadful fear of death and hell, yet I prayed. I didn’t know what to say to God, what to think, or what to do, yet I was determined to keep begging for mercy until either He saved me or I died in my sins. Finally, I was convinced that my sins would never be forgiven and I begged the Lord to not let me die in that state of misery and hopelessness. It was then that the Lord lifted the weight of sin from my heart and gave me Peace. I didn’t know what had happened, but somehow it occurred to me to ask the Lord about it. I had never before thought that God would directly answer a question, but now it seemed certain that He would. I asked and He answered. He told me that He had forgiven my sins. My spirit was filled with Divine Light, and I knew without doubt that I was saved. That was over 23 years ago. I have never doubted my salvation since that time. I have never feared death since that time. I have had peace with God since that time. Yes, you can know for certain that you are saved: “The Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God”. That passage by itself informs us of the only source of full assurance of salvation: it comes directly to our spirit from God. Jesus said, “Verily, verily I say unto you, the hour is coming, AND NOW IS, when the dead shall HEAR THE VOICE OF THE SON OF GOD,: and they that hear shall live”. This verse, John 5:25, is not referring to those who are physically dead, but those who are spiritually dead (lost). Jesus makes that clear in John 5:28, when He speaks of those who are IN THE GRAVE (physically dead) hearing His voice and coming forth on the last day. I don’t understand why people don’t believe crystal clear scriptures like these: scriptures which teach that the new birth is an act of God, not a decision of man, a work of man, a belief of man, or ANYTHING WHATSOVER OF MAN. If you want to be saved and know it for certain, repent towards God, with all of your heart, and never cease seeking after Him until from above He “Rains righteousness upon you”.

Join the club. The vast majority of believers 'doubt' there salvation at different times in their lives. It comes when you discover the truth that you are sinners by nature as well as practice. When you learn what the scriptures teach and what God's salvation is really founded on and what it means to be accepted in the beloved, being part of a new creation in Christ Jesus, being complete in Him, etc. Then the assurance of God's (not your) salvation gives peace in your soul.

There are many psychological reasons why people may doubt their salvation: 1. Women (and to a lesser extent men) who have experienced abuse in the home--physical and psychological--for long periods of time develop a total inability and lack of desire to trust anybody. These women believe that God is just like their spouse. Why? Because abuse is all they know--cruelty, promises broken, beatings, and profound humiliation. You can tell them that God is not a human being like their husbands, but you'll be hard-pressed to convince them to trust. 2. The prosperity gospel. I'm not rich. I'm not healthy. God must not love me. Therefore, if he doesn't love me, he hates me, and I am not saved. This gospel has ruined so many people.

For me, I just dread over the phrase "Depart from me, I never knew you".

This means we trust Him to take over the controls of our lives as we trust in His perfect payment for our sin, dying in our place when He died on thAe cross. God bless.

Remember doubt is a tool of the devil and not of God. Hold on to His promises and if you fail from time to time come back to His countenance rapidly.

My own ways terrify me but when I pray for understanding before reading God's Word I find answers in a spiritual enthusiasm while reading KJV Bible.
