So here we are, entering the world of Chinmaya mission.
At Chinmaya Mission, a friendly "Hari Om!" is how you're greeted by its members. In this video, we're excited to take you through our wonderful stay at two special places: Chinmaya Mission’s Sandeepany Sadhanalaya in Powai, Mumbai and Chinmaya Vibhooti in Pune.
Chinmaya Mission owes its origins to Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati, an extraordinary soul born in 1916 in Kerala. He began as a journalist but destiny guided him to the teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Tapovan Maharaj. In 1951, Swami Chinmayananda established Chinmaya Mission, aiming to spread the profound knowledge of Advaita Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads. His vision and dedication made him one of the founding members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
Our experience at Sandeepany Sadhanalaya was enriching! We had the opportunity to meet the social media teams of various Chinmaya Mission organizations. Yet, the highlight of our visit was meeting Swami Tejomayananda and attending his special Ganesh Chaturthi satsangs. Swami Tajomayananda ji blessed us with a lot of books from Chinmaya Publication.
From Mumbai, we took a one-day trip to Chinmaya Vibhooti in Pune. This spiritual haven houses Swami Chinmayananda’s Jeevan Darshan and Swanubhooti Vatika, offering deeper insights into his teachings and life.
Chinmaya Mission holds a treasure trove of spiritual wisdom that's both timeless and profound. It’s a place that embraces everyone seeking knowledge, wisdom, and inner peace.
