Hell, you don’t even call a Sargent “sir” since that’s reserved for officers. If you got caught saluting your Sargent you’d probably be punished in some way.

when i first heard about the clone wars in episode IV,i immediately though of a mass rebellion of clones used as slave labor,that left the galaxy in ruins because they were in common use all over and people thought nothing of it.the conflict was so brutal,and paranoia was so high(clones could be anyone of any species) that the Republic turned brutal and repressive out of necessity,morphing into the Empire,and Palpatine went over the edge with it,poisoned with paranoia slaughter and power. The Jedi were somekind of a elite corps,similar to the emperor's Royal Guard/Senate Guard.

When I was somewhere between the ages of 6-8, I came up with my own idea of the Clone Wars. The Clone Wars would be where there were Clones of various civilians to sneak into a facility and gather information, commit easy/simple assassinations and spark fear and riots across the galaxy. By the time people realized it was Clones. It was too late. There were still clones popping up all the time, leading everyone to fear eachother and sometimes shout outrageous accusations and death threats at people that they believed were clones. Keep in mind that there would be clones of more than just humans in my odd mind.

I would've loved to see a version of the clone wars were things are different from the movies. Instead of dooku and droids, the confederacy would've been lead by ventress, and the army would be made of nikto/ yinchorri clones made by the arkanian clone Masters. The republic would have their clones, but they would be lead by mandalorian super commandos and Jedi watchmen/ peacekeepers/ sages/shadows. The confederacy would be lead by bonterri , while palpatine and organa would lead the republic, all the while sith cultists financed by palpatine ( not a sith) manipulate the war.
@johnnygyro22953 жыл бұрын
A timeline/What If where Ventress "lead" the Separatists could be cool. She had a serious grudge on the Jedi for, supposedly, abandoning her surrogate father Ky Narec. A grudge Palpatine could no doubt take advantage of. Having fought pirates and warlords growing up could make Ventress popular among the Confederate populace. Also, her backstory being similar to Anakin's could help serve the dramatic irony when Palpatine pits them against each other to see who becomes his Sith apprentice/enforcer, with Ventress realizing they both got played before Anakin kills her.

The Dark Jedi Insurrection on Bpfassh would have occurred near the end or just after the end of the Clone Wars, and I suspect that in that timeline, the war did have an impact on the insurrection that followed.

I choose to believe that the original idea still happened under some context or capacity. Except instead of being a large scale war it could’ve just been a series of small conflicts that still qualify as wars Maybe some small clone armies are fighting each other at different points in the galaxy and the republic at first is like “okay, no big deal” But it gets a little too chaotic, civilians are caught in the cross fire. Then there’s infiltrations, frame jobs, and other small things that collectively make the whole thing look bigger than it really is and then when you think it can’t get more fucked up some of these small armies start making contact with one another over large distances some leaders start to get along while maintaining their animosity towards others Nothing is definitive yet but 2 ideas come up. A proper war with properly defined sides, and/or everybody joining forces to fight the republic Now the republic being smart this one time and this one time only, decides to take preemptive measures and prevent either thing from happening

You came to this video actually thinking the original plans for the CWs when it was under Lucas was going to be better than what we got? Lucas might be mediocre as a director but what you can't deny is his creativity. This was before Disney bought the IP and started pumping out inferior garbage. In fact every Disney release is inferior to Legends, from the Sequel timeline to the Rebels timeline, the bad batch show is already painting an inferior story to the post-clone wars period we got in legends, even the Boba Fett story we are about to get in the Book of Boba Fett is going to be shit compared to his legends story, of that I have no fucking doubt. I don't understand the arrogance of these disney directors instead of sticking to the better legends story they feel compelled to rewrite history for these characters and periods, only to always give us a mediocre or bad downgrade.
