The quest isn't really secret when Jinwoo is the only one who can see it lol. I am so glad we got to see Murderous Intent after he got it in ep. 6 lol. I thought he'd use it vs a person rather than a monster. They seem to be some shady shit going on in these dungeons. When you were talking about the flame circle compared to his emotions, I'm pretty sure it's more relative to what Kang talks about as he's dying when talking about his shadow reaching the darkness and gazing into the abyss. ---- a quote by none other than the philosopher Nietzsche. It's been in a few anime but this one is very apt.

We actually saw Murderous Intent in the Cerberus fight too, but only as a spreading flare of purplish heat distortion. You can see the skill window pop up, similar to what ep 9 does with his Sprint skill during the Goku warmup bounce. I think the visual effects in ep 9 were probably meant to be more metaphorical (his power 'flooding' the area and then a looming sense of immense power and dread grabbing hold of Kang's attention) than what literally happened in character. That would be in line with the manhwa, and with the skill description as well, both of which indicate that it's literally just a really powerful fear aura debuff rather than something like a Domain Expansion.

I feel like this is prewatched. She said that Kang would have to kill Kim because he’s a witness before Kim even entered the scene and saw the prisoners. 4:26 And she predicted the conclusion Kang came to that SJW had a second awakening before Kang actually said it, which is especially odd since Kang had a somewhat incorrect idea that was on the right track but we as viewers know to be wrong, so why would she say that unless she already knew what he was going to say? 10:06 And she predicts the full recovery within 10 seconds of it happening.13:19

I can get predicting characters actions as it relates to their motivations because you have a decent basis to go off of, which is why I didn’t call out you predicting song stepping in and taking the heat off of SJW because it makes sense based on his character and the story. but predicting elements of the action/storyboarding/dialogue just felt surprising. I could believe im just looking to hard at it though. Kinda whipped from other reactors getting exposed for prewatching in the past and it’s turned me into a skeptic lol 💀

Things have to get bad somehow for the arc to be interesting and this is the most generic way the plot can advance. "And she predicted the conclusion Kang came to that SJW had a second awakening before Kang actually said it" Well, for 2 reasons. First of all, we hear the term "second awakening" in every episode. And second, there are many people who are still confused about what happened to Jinwoo (including himself), and they consider it a second awakening. When I first read the manhwa, I thought it was a second awakening too for a long time. It's not that viewers know this to be incorrect, it's that manhwa readers like you and me know it. Anime-only viewers will be slightly confused by it and consider Jinwoo to have a second awakening. In any case, nobody apart from Jinwoo has recognized the system yet, so it's pretty easy to predict that most characters would come to the conclusion of "second awakening". It's not even the first time this happens too. "And she predicts the full recovery within 10 seconds of it happening." Well, yeah. Almost fight so far has had the same structure. Jinwoo gets beat/damaged, he uses full recovery and destroys the opponent. It's pretty easy to predict. I can tell because I didn't remember exactly what happened in this fight either but I could easily predict the full recovery and the fact that Kang will attack the others because they are witnesses.
