This deal with sag is good for golf and now they can tell liv golfers you now have no way back and pga can tell pig if you want in it’s our way

Hopefully like Jordan says with the SSG partnership, they don't need PIF anymore. It means that the SA crown can kick rocks and that sounds great to me.

@@Macattack11639 Look at the deal it's says their is deal worth 18 billion dollars and it's a global tour. 2 thing PGS is not. PGA makes 1.5b in revenue per year that including their TV broadcast deals and theg are only based in the US. Liv Golf is global tour that is franchise system which is valued at 30b it's ceiling. PIF already responded saying that they like SSG and will work with them to jnifiy go under kne umbrella. Writing on the wall not PIF deal SSG walks, it's the condition they are paying 1.5b to players as compensation for refusing Liv golf money.

Is Malnati's sweater on back to front? Got to say as someone who works in finance analysis, PGAT seems to be backing itself into a corner, any deal that increases payments, and ownership on a product going backwards and funded by PE/VC has a risk that PGAT will be owned by PE/VC, including any assets/IP etc. The value to SSG will only exist if they can bring PIF/LIV to the table and restore star players in enough events, increasingly I don't see that happen. The rest of the world is sick of the US controlling a global sport, and PGAT will never have a global interest.

Ok finance guy. Your saying PGAT will fail without the stars. Stars are made by winning tournaments, majors. Who was Dustin Johnson before he became a star? Brooks Koepka? Jon Rahm? Answer they were college kids. Palmer, Nicklaus were college kids. They made themselves. Scotty Schoeffler. The list goes on…

@@Macattack11639 No if you follow the comments you will see the logic. PGAT has pushed up prizemoney, at a time with declining talent and declining crowds and sponsors leaving...... If this was your personal home budget you would not do that you would reduce spend to make sure you did not go bankrupt rather than running up credit card debt. PGAT will survive and talent will always be around Dunlap showed that, the issue is you cannot spend above your means and the other guys (PIF) have more money. As independent contractors the players will go where the money is. PGAT is right now spending its way to bankruptcy in the hope the Saudi's get bored or give up, it is a brave and likely stupid approach
