Matt “as it used to be” number 1 was meaningful last year😂 and Ik this class is somewhat weak but it’s kinda weird we take every accomplishment away from melo, like high school “these teams aren’t good enough” drew league “drew league bout weak as shit this year no ballers” rico runs “bro who are any of these guys” nbl “Call me when he’s doing this in Euroleague” now the draft where millions literally said he wouldn’t even make it “this draft weak as hell” like wtf let a nigga have one for once feel me?😂

1. Melo was not ranked because he went and play overseas. 2. Melo will be ranked this month, thats what espn said after he returned to high school and they guaranteed top 10 pick of the draft, so yes thats still 5star recruit 3. Melo today just got 3offers from Eastern Michigan and other d1 schools i forgot the names. 4. Melo is the best player on his team, watts is nice and Isiah but noun of them have lamelo's overal talent and his feel for the game, they were getting blown out before melo got thier, now melo there and they now undefeated. 5. The NCAA changed the rules saying you can now play in the NCAA even with an agent. 6. They are rumours that he also received offers from Kentucky and USC but he just keeping them a secret until NCAA announce his eligibility. 7. The shoe stuff is just a family business, noting more 8. Rules are specifically if you get PAID THEN YOUR A PROFESSIONAL. 9. As much as you are praising melo, you still underestimate him, Lamelo. 10. NCAA Needs lamelo more then melo needs them, cause in my opinion they can sniff the lifetime money there going to get if melo plays in the league, and if they dont allow him in, the g league is going to have the hold of melo and if the g league gets melo..lets be honest........EVERYONE GOING TO WATCH THE G LEAGUE CAUSE OF MELO TO BE REAL, AND NO ONE IS GOING TO WATCH THE NCAA AND THAT MIGHT EFFECT THEIR REPUTATION. Edit: LOL Ignore the grammar to lazy to fix all of them just blame my phone.

@@MrTheTomahawk And their talent, but once they make it he needs to allow them to be men and make their own decisions, take a step back, not disrespect the owners, coaches, managers, go to his son first, and let his sons go to them privately man to man. Stop getting in the media and enbarassing them after they made it. He is also the reason they got in trouble in China, Lithuanian, UCLA< school and other things. Shoe deal that almost disqualified them all. Trying to get paid now and profit off of his sons rather than waiting till they are pro or even 18. I applaud him by being his own shoe company and keeping all the profits but hate that he charges more than the pro brands on China made shoes, which is what we all complained about, meaning he is greedier than them, and a lot of young fans may only be able to give 100 maybe 150 but not $3 bills. He continues to disrespect everyone publicly, right or wrong, instead of going to those persons the right way privately first. He loves his sons no doubt, and sticks up for them no doubt and help honed their skills and guides them well But lets be real Lonzo would have went pro anyway, maybe not to the lakers, and the other ones are talented enough as well, without the hype. Lonzo only weak spots is his shooting and freethrows, and part of that is he hardly gets playing time the coaches fault, but that is because of his shooting and free throws, Unfortunately his coach will not let him shoot hisself out of the slump. So it is probably better he is traded which he will be because of his dad most likely, and I wanted to see him and Lebron together more, both both got injured at the wrong time, so fans missed that.

Mouhamed Maouloud the proof is that he was under 18. His parents, quite literally-legally-controlled his life and finances (unless he had petitioned a court for emancipation from his parents, which is difficult for ANY teenager, especially one dominated by father like this). Your parents pretty much own you until your 18 (this is why we have homeschool and religion, and other things parents force on their kids), there was VERY little a 16 year old kid can do-even just from a life experience point of view-to get out of that situation. He was legally required to do what his parents said, unless this child found the strength in HIMSELF to advocate for himself that this was against his best interest. And where would he get an idea like that, with the confidence to stand up to his own parents, with a father like Lavar?

Idk about that. He could take some stupid as studies and books will still rum him and his family at least 15-20k for four years. Housing cost a grip assuming he would have to live n campus for his 1st year and sometimes you have to live on campus until your junior year. I mean yeah he could do it but once the college finds out how much taxes his family provides, they're going to run his price up. Your average millionaire couldn't pay their way through college. And for the fact that he has no college offer is for the fact that we still don’t know if he will be eligible to play in the NCAA next season no big programs wants to get in this type of drama. Melo is arguably the best player in his class and will get plenty of offers once they tell him if he’s eligible or not.

The only questions on him before was decision making, shot selection, etc. but this year he has showed great maturity in how he plays. I'd say he can improve defensively but otherwise he definitely is an elite prospect.

DonPapi mo he’s basically been playing against nba talent (lonzo) his whole life and when you see someone you know do it’s quite empowering!!! That’s a big difference in kids these days a lot of them don’t believe without a shadow of a doubt that they can make it & I believe he knows he can, the road has already been paved he just needs to follow course & stay healthy
@BlackPRanger
@BlackPRanger 5 жыл бұрын
DonPapi mo his last name is “ball” these kids were born for this don’t tell me bout pressure because if they can’t handle it in highscool they’ll never be able to when it comes to the pros (those kids that didn’t make it, were never meant to) that same pressure that beaks some kids are the same that create guys like Kobe Bryant & lebron James. They cane straight outta highscool & no amount of pressure was gonna stop them from being great & I think the ball brothers have that same drive. They all wanna be great & melo has the physical gifts to make it happen
@BlackPRanger
@BlackPRanger 5 жыл бұрын
DonPapi mo there’s more than one way to get to the pros, if you’re meant to make it you’ll get there one way or another. College is overrated! It’s all for exposure, which he doesn’t need because he’s been famous since he was 15 🤷🏾‍♂️
@BlackPRanger
@BlackPRanger 5 жыл бұрын
DonPapi mo read my last post again and come back with a better argument, don’t talk to me about pressure. Anybody who wants to be great goes through pressure, babying him isn’t going to make him any more prepared for it! Granted idk exactly what makes a great player great, but I can say he has all the physical gifts of a great players. Height, athleticism, court vision, ect and he has all of those, which most first round picks have. The difference Btwn him and other prospects is he has the it factor like seeing your older brother train everyday and end up going 2nd in the draft, someone he’s been comparing himself to his whole life. All he needs now is that same work ethic which I know he has because he eats, sleeps, and breathes ball! It’s even in his last name lol and you’re tryna tell me they hype from Social media is gonna stop him from being as great as he’s gonna be because he’s hyped. It’s sure he knows no matter how famous he is now all that goes away if he doesn’t go pro, I’m sure he knows & his brother is telling him that he hasn’t actually accomplished anything yet and that’s why he has to keep working and developing his game. The fact that he’s in the public eye should only fuel his desire to be even greater

This is such an interesting analysis given what we know now. I personally think his pathway into the NBA via the NBL here in Australia is genius. The NBL is always wanting NBA-quality talent and gave Lamelo an opportunity to prove himself NBA worthy in a legitimate national competition outside the NCAA. Lamelo has proven this as another pathway into the NBA and no doubt this will show others having difficulties getting into college basketball that there is another way through to the NBA. I would also add the Lamelo Ball was undoubtedly the most exciting NBL player here in recent history

@rellykz2175
@rellykz2175 5 жыл бұрын
TheTEN24 I don't think that'll be true. I think Lonzo and Lamelo are complimentary players, I believe they would be so good together. They can literally feed off each other, not to disrespect Jordan or Pippen, but let's use them as examples. Lonzo is more of a team player, he looks for the pass, he plays hard defense on anybody. Lamelo is more lackadaisical on defense, but he's more aggressive, he's more confident even when missing shots and every great scorer has always had confidence to continue shooting even when it doesn't go down. Because great shooters/scorers knows once they get in the groove it's lights out. Lamelo is the complete opposite of Lonzo. So to the Jordan-Pippen mention, and no disrespect to them because they're WAAAAY out of these two's league. But Jordan was the aggressive scorer, the main scorer. Pippen was the secondary scorer but more of a team player defending the best players, doing whatever MJ and the team needed him to do... like Lonzo. Lonzo has shown he was at his best playing with his brothers who had a totally different game from him. Playing with Lonzo might just improve Lamelo's mentality and drive to play defense because he has the size for it. Lonzo could improve playing with Lamelo and become a more aggressive scorer. Or they can both be busts and that's a good possibility, but Lonzo is the real deal he is talented as hell. He just needs someone to really mentor him and get on him to be aggressive like Lebron has been doing so far. Now put him with someone he's comfortable with.

Lamelo isn’t shooting as many threes cause he needs the averages. Lamelo air balled a lot of his 3’s on chino and can’t afford to do it in spire or he’ll be benched and look bad to future college or nba teams that want to take him on.
