Love this show and analysis . Listen to this on the way to and from work . Amazing . Also loved it when he did it all season the season we won it all . Never done before . To go on a pod after each game in the middle of playoffs all the way to the final , all without giving his rivals X's and O's like the media kinda of alluded to that one press conference , is insane and impressive . He totally denied it and proved it by winning another championship and that there is why I take everything draymind says as sacred .he is an elite basketball SAVANT.

I actually am shocked at how bad his analysis of some of this stuff is. He can't be serious with his points about drop coverage...playing a drop is basically the only way to play a pick and roll 2 on 2 and avoid getting put in rotation. On top of that, they held the Mavs to a 113 offensive rating in that game, despite executing the game plan pretty poorly by their standards. The offense was a much bigger issue. I think he's being dishonest to be entertaining/throw shade at Rudy and the Wolves. And if not his basketball IQ is a little concerning, especially for a guy who's hailed as a basketball savant.
@RomeoXM

@@curbsidemusic How? you can blitz the pick and roll and play up to the level and force the roller to catch the ball out of the dunker spot and have to make decisions when the rotation comes in rather than just luka open middy or a free lob every possession. Leaving mcdaniels to just fight over the screen and trying to recover after already being on lukas back was just cooking them all night. Teams have killed rudy in drop and played him off the floor in playoffs series already this isn't some new concept.

Seeing a lot of people try to make sense of these two teams. I’ll leave you with this The timberwolves have given up 100pts or over in only 6 games this postseason. They lost 4 of them. They haven’t lost a single game where the opponents failed to break 100. Meanwhile, Dallas is 9-1 when they break 100 and 0-4 when they don’t. The one game they lost while breaking 100 was when they erased a 30 point second half deficit and took a lead with 2 mins remaining only to fall a little short at the end. Total anomaly. Hold Dallas to under 100, you win. Let them break 100, you lose.

You’re supposed to want that match up. Joker was punishing him. 3. The best chance wolves got is to start Niles. More moble and can pull Lively & Gafford away from the rim. 4. ok i don't know what the timberwolves can change to beat dallas, the timberwolves didn't play bad, he hit his average by three, fix the field goal if the dallas defense allows. Offensive rebound, they can improve, defensive rebound difficult, dallas has two best players with the ball, Luka is a rhythm player, he is the best in positions 1,2,3 in every attack he throws the defender out of rhythm and pulls more players on him, this is what he does room for more Dallas players under the basket, Kayrie is unstoppable with his plays. If he improves Dallas' 3-point shooting, I don't know what else the timberwolves can do to win game 2. Dallas had a disastrous 3-point shooting of only 26% in game 1, his average in the playoffs is 36%

“Rudy can’t stop Jokic the mvp”… “the Timberwolves don’t believe they can win anymore.. the series is over” the Timberwolves beat the nuggets😂 in a historic game 7…. “Ant man can’t stop Kyrie.. Rudy needs to come off the bench.. the defensive player of year” Draymond Green, you are a basketball genius.. but you keep doubting the Timberwolves… they will continue to prove you wrong. All your takes about the Timberwolves are not aging well in this post season.

The mavs have 2 athletic serviceable bigs that stay planted in the paint that they can rotate. The only Center the Suns and the nuggets have was Nurkic and Jokic. Both are not athletic and have to come out the game at some point.

If the wolves go small it’s over… you thought we feasted in the paint game 1 it would only get worse. Pull Kat away from the rim, Naz can’t collapse because that’s a three ball from pj, luka and ky would pretty much be scrimmaging

Naz Reid should have played more in the 4th. Wolves needed his offensive threat and he can give fresh legs at Luka. (I know he was -12, don’t care).

You hate on Gobert because he’s a better defender, and try to belittle Luka, you’re nothing different from Stephen A., biased, you don’t deserve a podcast platform to say anything about anyone
@itsELL24
@itsELL24 5 ай бұрын
Yes the hate is very personal if you look deeper. Draymond Green won DPOY & 1st team all-defense in 2016-2017 (Gobert was 2nd in voting and inching closer for Draymond's spot) The following year (2017-2018) Gobert wins DPOY as well as 1st team all-defense while Draymond is relegated to 2nd team all defense. Since the 1st time Gobert won DPOY, Draymond has one all-defense 1st team and 0 DPOY's while Gobert has 3 DPOY's and 5 all-defensive 1st teams. Draymond still needs therapy clearly.

You mentioned “getting your ‘i’ dotted” in this episode (~00:10:45) and on Shaq’s podcast. What does that mean?
@mattjack9671

Double entendre for “eye dotted” basically mean shot in your face but also references that the letter “i” is dotted

Ant can hoop and guard but he’s not locking up the best guards in the world. If Kat gets going earlier I think the series is set for the Wolves. Ky and Lukas help is pretty bad especially after adjustments come and they keep gettin ran off that line
