I have an experiment... now police officers have right too...so this would have to be done under a terms of employment exemption...Give 1000 K9 cops randomly and without warning a lie detector test and simply ask them two questions.1)Do you have a secret signal for your dog so that he will indicate on a car that there are drugs when he does not detect them on his own? 2)Have you ever used it to illegally search a car? If we are honest it is likely that the result would be a horrible failing grade on top of the dogs themselves already getting a failing grade. I am aghast that after testing was done showing your average K9 police dog is only about 52% accurate, that the supreme court said 52% was good enough. 52% was a failing grade on every test I have ever heard of.

As you know, "traveling" is a Constitutional Right. And I do not have to identify myself unless and until after I am arrested. If I am considered in police custody from the time I was pulled over, unless pulled over for no other reason than a fishing expedition, can I refuse to answer any questions, including who I am and whether I have a license and insurance, and tell police I am exercising my 5th Amendment Right and not going to answer any questions, and if they insist on continuing the interigation, I demand "legal cousel" (immediately(?))

In South Carolina if you are driving a vehicle you must identify yourself to police and show your drivers license, registration, and proof of insurance (passengers do not have that requirement). Even though this state is not a state that requires identification it does if you are driving on the roads here.
@Justjack613 Жыл бұрын
@@DaleSavageLaw You mention, "identification". NOT a "drivers license". Regardless of state, it is a Constitutional Right to travel. A 'drivers License" is not needed, unless Driving commercially. As an attorney, you should know, "any and all laws that are unConstitutional, are automatically and immediately null and void". In short, in EVERY state a license is not needed to travel, a registration of personal property is not needed and 'forced' insurance is not legal.

Well, they did it to me in Michigan in January 2011 - made me get out of my car; ran a dog through my car; had helicopters everywhere; this is all because I have California plates and they just knew that I had pounds drugs. I was there because my mom was ill. I never go to Michigan since I left a hundred years ago. Everyone said, oh well. They didn’t hurt you. Can’t believe this video came up on my feed. I was watching video poker… 😂😂😂

Per Pennsylvania vs Mimms, police ordering you out of your car during a routine traffic stop is not a violation of your rights. They can always say "I smell MJ" and ask for a K9 unit even if you don't smoke or have anything in your car.

when can police lose their qualified immunity?
@danboquist Жыл бұрын
The way around this is for them to say that they smell marijuana, correct? Would having a couple of air fresheners hanging from your rear view mirror be sufficient probable cause to search?

It's usually a bluff Because cops r lazy. Not all the time though.

every officer that asks a question, that isn't related to the traffic violation should get 20 years in prison
