Thanks for sharing your time in Popoyo. I haven't been there, but I've been to SJDS. As a vegetarian, I think its cool that you could get veggie burgers in a far flung place like that. The tidal pool looked awesome! The washboard station at the springs was really unique. Loved the pig in the mud. lol.

Hey! Love all your videos of Nicaragua, they've been really helpful in planning my upcoming trip. I'm going to Nicaragua for 8 days and debating if I should divide my beach time between SJDS and Popoyo or just sticky to SJDS. Would you recommend Popoyo for a solo traveller (wont have a car)? It looks amazing but it seems really quiet and might not have many opportunities to meet other travelers?

I would def at least hit one other spot. Popoyo was amazing but ometepe is a great option to and it’s a little bit easier to add to the itinerary
