I realized I was done. I didn't want him to play the victim. So I decided it would be best if he just left me...but I didn't want to be mean about it. He seemed to pick up on my feelings right away and BAM, cut me off. It was a little abrupt and rude, but I remind myself this was actually what I wanted and this was MY signal that I was putting out. So that makes me feel in control even though he probably thinks he's in control. Whatever floats his boat. It just had to end.

I stopped answering many of his calls, weened myself off him, then he left me a cruel voice message calling me a liar and traitor, then did the block on me. I intentionally didn’t block my narc ex from any social media. Reason being, she’s so full of herself I have no doubt she’d take it as a sign that I’m so despondent we aren’t together anymore that I had to do it to mend my broken heart. he blocked me for a couple minutes on messenger and he knew I was trying to type a message and then the message was having issues being sent , and I knew that he was in the midst of blocking me right then and there, he then did not , it was so diabolical . So yes they are so Evil , he then finally blocked me after our last evening together and ghosted , but he dogged me out and did me so dirty and the never gave closure . I remember when he blocked me and put me on silent treatment it was like losing a best friend , I even hyperventilated , Anxiety all over the place. Its so cruel and diabolical .

You think to yourself: "THANK YOU!" My narcissistic mother quit contact to me in August 2023 after telling me in a depressed episode I had that I should hang myself. She tried to contact me (by offering her help ... yeah ... the mirroring narcissist type of mother) but I bever replied. I only talk about her as a bad example of a mother but I never wasted a second thinking about her. This is the only way to deal with narcissists ... OR if it is a coworker or something just play them. Always complement them on stuff they are begging about etc. This is the (IMO) only to ways to deal with NPD individuals. I was able just block him from certain posts, bcz he would take the pics I posted of the kids and use them to gain sympathy. He didn't live in the same state, but didn't try very hard to see them. It was just easier to post how much he missed them, so everyone would say how he was "such a good dad".

Lee, can we talk about some of the sadistic things that narcissist do? I just really wanna know if this is happened to anyone else. My ex-husband was a self-aware narcissist. He admitted this to me one day. I had no idea what he meant by that. But I begin to research what it was and then I began to understand why I was always in a state of confusion. A few of the sadistic things that he did that I found out later on was that he was putting video recorders in our bathroom in the vents on the ceiling and recording mine and my children’s most personal moments in the bathroom. Mind you I also have teenage kids in the home. Another strange thing he used to do towards the end of the relationship after his mask came off was he would stand over my bed in the middle of the night and speak the most evil things while I was sleeping. I could hear his voice so angry. I could feel his presence and would be fighting myself to wake up because I was so afraid he was going to kill me. He also convinced everyone, his ex wife, who is also likely a narcissist & his own son that I was keeping him from having a relationship with his kid when he is the one who abandoned his kid at the beginning of our relationship. Then, all the sudden after our relationship ends, he has manipulated his son to think that i was so controlling and jealous of his ex and so I was the reason why he could not call or visit him, when the ex-wife is the one who forbid it because she used to tell me how dangerous and disgusting he was and that she wanted him to sign his rights away. And then his mama gets involved because I work in the world of family law. She expected me to get him custody of his sons. It is not my responsibility to fix his whole past up, but his mama put that on me.
