YES!!! For the past few months, I was only getting full sound out of the left side and a kind of quiet echo from the right. The radio and CDs sounded fine, so I knew it had to be the turntable. Did all of these. #7 worked! WOOOOHOOO! Soundgarden sounds soooooo gooooood now! Thanks!

For anyone else that still can't get it working... this worked for me oddly: the red/white or red/black connection to the speaker line, my right (red) speaker wasn't working, when I unplugged both red/white, and tried plugging in red FIRST, it gave me feedback. But if I plugged in white first, red wouldn't give me feedback. Somehow the order of which my line gets plugged in makes the sound come out of both speakers instead of just one

Each time I clean the stylus I expect the sound may be very low on one channel. Because it happens too often. Could you please explain me how to treat this? Usually leaving the entire hardware chain off seems to work when I power on 🤷🏻‍♂️ Many thanks!

I've tried all of these and even replaced my turntable and still only receiving sound from one speaker with my turntable. With my Mac and CD player plugged in, I get sounds from both speakers. I'm thinking now it must be a problem with my amp/Phono output?

Same issue (i not another record player to test)... I put leads in dvd and other inputs in the technics amp and it works then but at a low volume as not meant to go in but I was troubleshooting... wish I could call someone to just fix it 😆

The problem in my case seems to be either an internal problem on the right side of my turntable not reproducing any sound?

At one point it clicked and suddenly i was in thus situation. So i cleaned the needle and it worked again. But then, the next day it happened again. I’ve tried almost every tip here, but now i don’t think its got something to do with the cartridge.

Good Day, My turntable (Linn Sondek LP12) is playing perfectly, but have noticed on some of my LP's, certain tracks are not playing entirely (i.e. getting the lead vocals/instrumentals without the background/accompanying instrumentals. this is also happening with background vocals as well). As some of my LP's play perfectly, with no problems at all, would this be a Turntable or Pre-Amp issue? Thank You for your input!

I don't know if you ever received any help, but I have the same issue with my Numark. What it picks up really does sound great, but it keeps missing some pieces of mixing that our other, older player will. I think it might be an issue with the cables but don't have the know-how to install better ones.

what's frustrating is that it's clearly picking up stereo, as I hear a difference when plugging in both L/R channels, but still missing *something* and I can't figure out what.

I have the same problem with my Akai AP-B20C, and it happens on a few of my records but not all of them and I am honestly not sure what to do about it

I have a 85 It's awesome. I would suggest if you have the resources I would get a 83 that way you can install upgrades to a 85 over time. EG, red ot blue ortofon needle. If you play a lot of vintage LPS get the red it's a bit more forgiving not quite as aggressive. Also you can upgrade the platter to vinyl. They also have a new bamboo deck that looks killer.

@@mikeeversfield2719 I had to double check and make sure it was upgradable after I saw your comment, but yeah it is upgradable. An additional $50 dollars and extra for the preamp will hopefully be well worth it. 👐😁

Help! Only one of my speakers is working but it’s not the speaker itself as when I change which hole it’s plugged into, they both are actually functioning.
