One massive thing missing from this list. Some form of moral and spiritual foundation and accountability. Whether it be religion, culture, community, or family. Every single long lasting relationship I've ever witnessed, regardless of nationality and ethnicity, women have had a moral and spiritual foundation of some sort to hold them accountable. Men as well, but most cultures the world over have held men accountable to some standard of what a man is, Honor, Chivalry, etc. Where the equivalent for modern women is not nearly as prevalent.

I'm so thankful for my husband, he already did these things when we met and overtime I let go of trying to be the masculine one and it's such a relief and blessing to have a strong man lead you and your family. Its easy for women (and in my case a single parent before we met) to feel like we need to fill a man's role. It's also easy to be controlling about taking that from the man. My husband has been very patient with me and never forced me to change but instead let me realize I don't need to fill that role.

"let her struggle a bit". The "struggle" is what we were all put here for. It's otherwise known as "growing pains". The struggle is where real growth as a person of character takes place. Without the struggle/challenge we atrophy and become less capable.

I am a woman. Mr. Ryan Michlen is correct. Thinking about the times I've interacted with men. It doesn't have to mean in an intimate way either. There have been times where I had to be more masculine and definitely not wanted to be it, but the man/men I was around wasn't holding his masculine energy/frame. That's exhausting for me. I understand the burnt out concept he was talking about. Than there's times, I've been around men who held their masculine energy and it's just so nice & lovely to just relax into my femininity. I love my femininity. It feels good too. I even cringed when I am around masculine females. On a more intimate level: it's a turn on to be able to just enjoy the masculine energy. It frees up my energy to enable me to be playful. That is so very much enjoyable.

It really hit hard when you said the wife has been doing both roles and is now burnt out, therefore loves her husband but the attraction is gone. That is exactly how I feel. This helps me to know what I can ask of my husband so that we can both be more fulfilled. I appreciate his dedication to providing for our family of 6. He never complains in that regard. However I know he can have a life where he is more fulfilled as well when he takes on his role. I’m thankful he has a willingness to learn (he’s the one who shared your content). Hi Ryan! I know this is an older video but I hope my comment can still be of some use to you (or anybody else reading this). Well, beyond just contributing to algorithmic magic So, as a woman myself, I gotta say there’s a lot of great stuff here. I especially liked the part about a man being the masculine strength in the relationship and letting the woman relax and be feminine. Plenty here we’d agree on. Where I pulled up short is the parts where you talked about things like needy women or your wife coming to you to vent-not because I think you’re entirely wrong but because I think you’re missing an important part of the picture You’re right that a woman who can’t make decisions on her own needs to address serious issues, but your advice on how to respond could prove counterproductive. When you tell a woman in one of your hypothetical scenarios to in essence “figure it out,” she likely doesn’t hear “I trust you to figure it out or learn how to,” which is what I’d hope you’re trying to show her. She very likely hears “I don’t have time for you and I don’t care about you” and feels rejected by you. Is this gonna be every woman? No, but I’d bet many of the men watching you have women in their lives who would be I think you’re right that this must be addressed so the man doesn’t get exhausted by her neediness, but you might want to look a little deeper to find what’s driving it first. Respectfully, I’d suggest looking into Attachment Theory; an anxious attachment style could be the deeper issue at play here. Adam Lane Smith and Connor Beaton have excellent content on the subject here on YT Thanks for a thought-provoking video! I’ve recently discovered your content and have enjoyed much of it so far. I appreciate what you’re trying to do to revive vital manliness in a broken world

IF you are in a long distance she is probably just seeing other men while keeping you on the back burner. If you haven't met her face to face you don't know her at all. Texting and calling is not reality. Be more attractive by improving yourself .

I really loved this. Thank you. I found myself smiling at most of it and I love how you point out the dangers of drama and attention-seeking. I think the point about meeting a woman's parents to get an idea of her future depends on whether she has done her own healing work and can acknowledge her conditioning. Also, I felt slightly tense when you mentioned independence and her need to solve her own problems. When I am in my femininity and something has knocked me, I NEED others sometimes to bring a clearer perspective. Whether it's my mum or brother, a neighbour, a colleague, or a partner. And the act of asking for help is enormously bonding for me. I love what you say, though, about not becoming 'girlfriends' to each other. Thanks for your contribution 🙏

The Woman Who Fears the Lord Proverbs 31:10-31 10 An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. 11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. 12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. 13 She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. 14 She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. 15 She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household and portions for her maidens. 16 She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. 17 She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong. 18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night. 19 She puts her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle. 20 She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy. 21 She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household are clothed in scarlet. 22 She makes bed coverings for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple. 23 Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land. 24 She makes linen garments and sells them; she delivers sashes to the merchant. 25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. 26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. 27 She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 29 “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” 30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.

I will say this, everybody has insecurities or scars from things that have happened in the past that will form who they are. Just because someone had a difficult past or poor relationships with their parents does not mean they will have unbearable issues. That’s not an excuse not to work on yourself and heal from your past because you absolutely 1110% should, but if you’re looking for a girl who has 0 insecurities or some things that they are working on then you’re looking for a leprechaun. Much love to this message though and I agree with all of it. I’m just saying that there is no should thing as a person who does not have these things. Much love❤️

I truly enjoy your perspective. I found it interesting that you said to look for an independent woman. It was one thing my ex-husband told me did not appreciate about me..... that I didn't need him. I told him I wanted him wasn't that more important? For him no.... :( He ended up with women who couldn't support themselves and needed his paycheck. Thank you for confirming I am ok being self sufficient. I still don't mind being called a girl. 😀

There is a difference between being independent and being unable to be interdependent. Ultimately, relationships have to be able cresting interdependence, not because we lack something individually, but because we can be more together. I wonder if you ex was pointing out that there was not enough interdependence in your relationship.

My situation is weird so my wife makes more than I do and she has said forcefully multiple times if we have kids I’ll be the one staying home if either of us do. That was difficult for me to accept as I was raised to be a provider and protector. I’m still a protector but with her having 1.5 - 2 times greater earning potential than I do it makes logical financial sense. I figure there maybe some other men out there who are in a similar situation? Through WPSN I learned about Order Of Man and already it has helped watching this there and watching on KZbin. Honestly I was narrowly focused on the protector aspects until I learned about Order Of Man. Now I’m branching out to learn more about different things and see what other avenues I maybe able to create to make more money. As you say in some of your podcasts to follow your curiosity. Anyway can anyone relate to my situation?

Im new here but I make more than my husband (though he is closing the gap bc he is getting a degree and moving up), but we treat all his and my money like “our money.” It’s never been an issue for us as far as masculine/feminine energy bc it’s ours together. I am pregnant with our 1st baby but I don’t think he could stay home with the kid when the time comes bc we are made for different things. We plan for both of us to work after my maternity leave is over and get an in-home nanny or daycare if we can’t. Having said that, we are just figuring all this out bc no experience with kids. Good luck with your situation.

@@rebaparker3714 same for my wife and I. We pool our money. It just feels weird that I bring in so little. My wife has been very supportive and motivated me to leave my full time job as a store manager and chase my dreams. But here’s the thing it’s ultimately about what’s best for you, your marriage and kids. There’s no right answer except the one you think is most beneficial for y’all as a family unit. For us I already know I’ll be a part time stay at home dad and husband. But that’s not all I’ll be doing. It really all depends like I said. It’s up to you and your husband to decide what best fits for your family

@@rebaparker3714 my wife and I are also expecting our first so we are already planning how we will work things. Honestly I’m grateful for her golden opportunity she has since earned a hundred fold. Her success has open doors for us to be more available parents

Lord willing I will be in a somewhat similar situation. The major difference may be my age. As an older man, I am looking forward to being a (foster/adoptive) Parent. I would likely stay at home, in addition to taking care of a child or two I would (in all likelihood) take care of housekeeping and cooking chores, run errands, and see that the vehicles and the house are maintained in good working order, and do the grocery shopping. As I'm listing all these duties I am reminded of what another YT creator said about getting all the business AND the personal stuff done well is a Herculean task which no one person was designed to do. We'll do the best we can bc we love each other and are highly motivated to see the other succeed. I hope you folks do the same.

@@raularmas317 hats off to you cause I would never adopt. I’ve been so neglected my entire life my views on charity is slim at best, so something like adoption would never be on my plate but I greatly respect those who choose that path. The mountain of tasks can feel oppressive at times but you can find pleasure in their completion and maybe joy in the journey of learning. So I teach gun safety and handling as a side hustle and apart of that is philosophy cause philosophy is the tool I use to interpret the world. Now one of my students is unsure about his life path to becoming a nurse because other staff in the field belittle and talk down to him. A key little piece of wisdom I passed on to him was to find value where you are. Regardless of your circumstances or emotions find some value and that will shield you from the worst of the discomfort you may face with your lot in life. Same thing with being task overloaded. It sucks it’s very difficult to do but there’s joy in seeing the limits of your body, mind and soul and pushing those limits. The kids you adopt will take note and admire your strength to whatever extent it is. They may not verbalize it till later in life but it does positively impact them seeing a roll model keep their cool and work hard and strive to make life better. I used to work as a Subway manager in my early to mid twenties and at one point I worked 45 days in a row, 10-18 hour days. It was absolutely brutal. On the 46th day I turned my phone off and said well they can fire me but I’m sleeping in today. The next morning while drinking a coffee watching the sun rise I had one thought “well I know I can go 45 days straight without rest, that’s a skill and experience I can check off.” I tell you what that as I like to say “character building exercise.” Has helped me in so many ways in life since and it continues to do so.
