I usually listen more to videos than watch them as I most often use a split screen so I can be doing something else at the same time. So I don't really pay a lot of attention to text callouts.

Trena, what editing technique are you using to fade the picture out when you put your tip text on the screen? Is that an overlay? As one of your former Video Academy students, you know me, I am wanting to continue to learn!

Yes great question! My video editor using Premier but I've done that using Final Cut. It is a text overlay graphic.
