Pastor John, I have no way of getting to you and so I pray that God will lead your footsteps to Zimbabwe. Every sermon of yours which I have had opportunity to listen to, cuts to my heart and points me to God. Please come

This is so very helpful. I am finding that perhaps not many people know how to read their BIBLE correctly. God help me to rightly divide your word of truth

1. The Bible itself, along with a computer program for searching it effectively. 2. Your own mind, encouraging independent thinking and asking questions about the text. 3. Engaging with a community of Bible students and owning a set of commentaries. 4. Seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit through prayer and humility.

On point 4, while he may not "whisper" (a loaded term), actually Jesus says that the Holy Spirit will teach διδάσκω / ie "didactically teach" you all things. John 14:26 And in Matthew 24, Jesus says, ONE is your καθηγητής (kathegetes / teacher), even Christ, and all ye are brethren.

How do u spell the bible commentary name mentioned. I could only guess it was Chindale? I have bad hearing though haha... Thank you! P.s wonderful video as usual. These are a serious blessing and tool for study in themselves. A usual part of my day included in bible study. Thank you deeply for all involved! Commenters included!

Jesus loves you and died so you can have eternal life. Repent and turn to Him because He is coming soon! He loves you!

He mentioned the Holy Spirit but it would only be pride to not use the other tools that he mentioned. And we all know that the Bible warns us against pride.
