Are you removing your tape from the bar before the Ironman? Could be a risk to get a DQ or? Anyway great video like always and much appreciate to show min/km
@archmdz8 ай бұрын
I am thinking of another solution here -- that tape and piece of foam between the bars is not for aerodynamics (which is what the rule is targeting), it's to stop my extensions from rotating as there is a tiny bit of play and too much force or a big bump can change their orientation. So I need to have something in there to prevent that from happening on race day. It also is currently my garmin mount so hopefully the officials would be a bit more lenient with my set up.

Why do you train with drafting on the bike when you won't be able to draft in competition?
@archmdz8 ай бұрын
Same reason we practice all four strokes in the pool or run on trails or ride a road bike. Being skilled in all areas (sitting 6 inches back from someone's wheel on a TT bike requires a good bit of skill and confidence on the bike) and having fun are the keys to doing well in competition, not being ultra specific all the time.
@sethbitting44378 ай бұрын
You can also keep a group of riders with slightly differing power outputs together with creative spacing / drafting and still allow everyone to get their optimal training session done

I usually love your content but I have to say that recording in a public pool should be done with the consent of other swimmers if they are present. I can see quite a few non triathletes in the clip and I am not sure how many of them are actually okay with being put on the internet like this.
