Loving the content Sir Teoh! As much as I enjoy the high-end stuff, I would love to see some budget to premium 32's for those smaller rooms from time to time. So far the QN32Q50R from Samsung seems to be the best option within that market.

@HDTV thanks for the video. I used to have a Pioneer Kuro LX5090 Plasma (after 12 years it got accidentally damaged) loved the blacks and natural realistic images..What tv would you recommend less than 77" ..i watch sports, movies and some gaming. Was considering OLED 55" C9 or E9 (or better gertung C9 with separate sound system add on) but are the images too vivid? Would I be better with a Panasonic? Please suggest alternatives or which is most suitable?

What would you recommend for someone wanting to have as a 65" monitor for color grading for independent film projects? I see that Panasonic has the TC-65GZ2000 but that is very expensive and not available in the USA. (It can always be shipped and imported through proxy.) and I do not know if it can be calibrated throughout its usage. Is the current 2020 generation of LG Oled (ie. LG OLED 65 CX) able to be calibrated by a CalMAN?

Hello Vincent , I just discovered your channel and I am amazed at how good all your reviews are. I appreciate all the detailed reviews. I'm not sure if you'll see this but here goes.. I was wondering if you can help me with my decision. I am planning to get a future-proof 4K HDR TV. I watch a lot of sports and play FIFA on PS4 (~4 hours a week maybe) and maybe watch a movie over the weekend. I am looking at 65" TV's. I am looking at Sony Z9F and X950H. Although, it looks like X900H will have more future proof updates available via firmware, I believe X950H will have all of these but Sony didn't make an official statement yet. I cannot see how a "inferior" model can have more future proof features (also X950H has the superior "ultimate" processor). I think wide-angle viewing and Dolby Atmos speaker justify the price of X950H over X900H. So, tl;dr Watch sports, play FIFA, X950H or Z9F? (And do you think X950H will get all the features X900H will get via a firmware update). Thank you.

@MisterReen
@MisterReen 4 жыл бұрын
@midnightbazaar No, the picture is not too vivid. I don´t think that you can compare it to the plasmas. The standard setting of the LG Oled is very natural. if you like you can increase the amount of colour, but it´s not recommended if you want a natural picture. Samsung Qantum-LEDS are way more vivid in their standard settiings, it´s all about personal preference.

Hi, Vincent! I have a Pioneer KRP500M which I use as a PC monitor. My usage is mixed browsing/photo editing/movies/games. I'm a perfectionist and an accuracy junkie like yourself (in the best meaning possible), I calibrate my own displays with i1 Pro. But I noticed that my eyesight is beginning to deteriorate (because of the plasma flicker, I assume). What would you recommend as an alternative under 1500$ in 50-55"? It would be hard for me to give up on inky blacks and accurate colors.

Cool video. Over the last 10yrs I've upgraded alot and gotten through a ton of high end and mid range TVs from all the biggest brands. For me Panasonic always shines through. You pay a bit extra but you do get that extra quality. Such a shame they stepped away from full array local dimming TVs though. The Panasonic DX902 still wipes the floor with Samsung's high end Qleds and it's a 4yr old TV. They should make some more high end and mid range ones they'd sell well.

I know they look great as well for movies and sports as well, but not the BEST. but for gaming which is what im going after, thats where it shines. My question is though about the next gen consoles coming, and that LG doesnt have amd "FREESYNC" compatibility. Ive seen videos about it'll be added via a software update but it wont be "Freesync ultimate" which other manufacterers has, like samsung for instance. Wouldnt samsung or Tvs with that be better then for "gaming"? Thanks in advance!
