Hi. I think the assumption that Mike Afton was looking for clues and Cassidy Afton could be a major clue. But the one saying "It's Me" is being reflected as a mirror, and thus, it could point to Michael Afton, whilst being the main protagonist could also hint to the missing body inside of Golden Freddy all along was himself. Because after we saw the Sister Location, Michael Afton was changed into an animatronic. Where was the remains of Michael Afton's corpses. Although, I think that Michael Afton can see clearly, it doesn't mean he's not Golden Freddy. And if we assume Michael Afton possesses the body of Golden Freddy's body, it would indicate that Michael can't see. But if we say Cassidy was the body of Golden Freddy, that would explain why only 1 Golden Freddy is left to possess instead of 2. Because the second person possessing the head of Golden Freddy, was Michael Afton. And the Cassidy that couldn't see, now can see everything, and is clearly the body.

I have an explanation to why Mangle's gender is so inconsistent across the games. And its simple. Mangle has two heads, one head is a girl and the other is a guy. That is why Scott's answer to the question "is mangle a boy or girl" is YES, because Mangle is technically both.

I feel like there isn't something physical in the box after all. There are two keyholes one for us the community and one for Scott. To unlock our keylock we needed to solve the story and Scott would in turn open his keylock too. I feel like the box being the pieces put together is literally reffering to the story as a whole. The puzzle pieces put together. The box wouldn't be some insane reveal that puts the lore together. We had to put the lore together to open the box. And together with Scott put an end to FNAF's story. Instead nobody solved the story so Scott tried again with fnaf world but he probably realised that again the story wouldnt be solved so he hid away the box in the unused files of the game. The box still remains with the same purpose it served 8 years ago. It's contents changed because the story itself is broader now. But the purpose remains. To be opened when everything is put together and put an end to FNAF.

I think that's where William's biggest mistake lies. Mike didn't kill his brother, just badly injured him like in Mangel. We hear the beeping on the monitor, so Cassidy (Cry Child) is in the hospital, but it goes silent and means there's no heartbeat anymore, making us believe that Cassidy (Cry Child) is dead, but whoever says he's dead could have been taken away. William kidnapped his son from the hospital. We know that he experimented on Cassidy, which is why I believe Cassidy and Cry are the same person. William put his son in Golden Freddy (which is why Golden Freddy doesn't have a skeleton) and springlocked it, meaning his soul was trapped in Golden Freddy. He then removed his dead body, put it in the box and buried it. 2 locks = 2 identities. Golden Freddy doesn't have a skeleton, so William didn't put it in there. cassidy can't see anything because he's lying dead in the box. his body was separated from his soul, so he can't move and can only hear. The name we found in the book belongs to the cry child✨️

And by the time the second story arc began with Security Breach, it no longer served a purpose. I just wish Scott would come out and say what he intended to be in that box now that he has nothing to lose by doing so.

Tbh something of the boy being in the box makes perfect, although morbid sense. 'The spirit follows the flesh' after all. I mean narratively in Fnaf 3 things are needed for a spirit to move on; 1.Conclusion of any unfinished business. 2. Knowledge of own death(Memories,etc.) 3. Happiest day (peaceful memories.) failure in any of these categories prevents a spirit from moving on regardless of remnant being destroyed, as they seem to attach to new objects through their agonising over their existence. Look at UCN and the Fazbear Frights books. Someone didn't get their happiest day and became powerful through agony in both cases.

What’s in the box is currently undecided “Would the community accept it that way?” “Would the community accept that what’s in the box hasn’t been thought of?” Scott has never implemented his intentions fully and so half the answer to whatever he was pushing towards is forever lost. Yeah, there is something in the box, but Scott couldn’t decide what it would be, he never knew exactly what it was in FNaF 4 but he knew vaguely that it was “something”

The parts William Afton removed from his Springtrap form between FNAF3 and Pizza Sim. THAT was in the box Hence why Scraptrap looked so janked! He removed parts of himself then replaced them with random bits, Henry would assume he got damaged when he DIDN'T. Later found by Fazbears for FNAF VR.

It’s also why William was shouting for help in Ultimate Custom Night. I watched Fazbear's Toddler Fun and i know what really is in the chest. Michael hid his little brother's corpse with the crashed head in there. Crying Child was never send to hospital and died here, Michael turned out to be a coward and liar and hid his own little brother's body in that chest and locked it on two locks.

Maybe the two pieces of the crying child's brain that would have needed to be put back together to heal. The idea of it needing to be done within a certain time would reflect how the tissue would decay or that the surviving tissue would change and heal to be something else. If you look at the 8bit cutscenes map, they do form the shape of a brain. I wonder if thatvwas a hint for it.

When tackling this thing, you really can't bring in evidence from future games, I feel. The answer to what was in the box needs to be congruent with Scott's clues he gave out at the time of everyone trying to figure this out back then. Considering what Scott has said, I believe that whatever was in the box was just concrete proof that Mike Schmidt was the brother of the Crying Child. It just takes recalling his one clue about considering who the protagonist is. The retcon that Scott talks about is just making Mike and the Crying Child into Aftons as there was no indication that they were the sons of Purple Guy back then, and the notion of that only came about after Sister Location.

I think you are really close to the truth -You are the only person so far to realize the box contains something the Fnaf 4 protagonist does not want to believe exist but you are missing a few things -Scott didn’t say the entire Fnaf 4 story was retconned he said he was trying to tell the same story in a different way as the first time didn’t work -In Fnaf 4 we undoubtably plays as the CC through out the entire game. Hence why we are 3 feet tall in the bedroom gameplay and why the bedroom is obviously a child’s bedroom -when someone mentions the pieces it means something different every time. 1.In Fnaf World it was in reference to happiest day 2.in SL Michael meant what he did to Baby 3.in FFPS it was an allegory where someone needed to sacrifice one of five to save 4 but decided to try to rig the choice by combining all five into one and still end up losing all five 4.In Help Wanted the pieces are the tapes that creat Glitchtrap, etc So what is in the box must share a quality with all these things not necessarily just the Fnaf world one I still say Mikevictim is the solution -the Fnaf 1 phone call, Chica missing her beak and all the other references points to CC being the nightguard in Fnaf 1-3 -also the nightmare animatronics are more human then the rest. For one they breathe, have five fingers and Nightmare himself seems to have some form of anatomy So what if the entirety of Fnaf 4 was about someone having a realization they were a robot -Silver eyes was published pretty close after Fnaf 4 -the motivation for the CC to be the nightguard is he sees the animatronics as his friends thanks to Plushbear -the Curse of Dreadbear dlc is heavily related to Fnaf 4 and is a spoof of Frankenstein a story about creating life -SL had tons of things that blurred the line from human to robot with the FUNTIMES have a brain and muscle fibers plus the 3 baby heads -it would makes sense why Michael wanted to stay in the fire in FFPS. Because he was the fifth animatronic. He needed to be buried with them to end it all -Glamrock Freddy who everyone thinks is Michael calls the blob his “friends” something shared by the CC. -although Michael was the supposed protagonist in every game we see more things correlated to Freddy then to Foxy with him -The security logbook responses in the “How you feel questionnaire” could’ve meant as something for Michael to answer -in Fnaf world the clock ending says “we are still your friends” denoting that he is talking to the CC and says “The pieces are in place for you” which were the Fnaf 3 Easter eggs. idk if Scott intended this but, what of the FNaF movies are like an AU sort of?????? Maybe??? Or kind of like the MCU, but instead it's the FNaFCU? I'll do my best to explain. So, people've said that the Spider-man movies that Sam Rami made aren't actually a part of the MCU, along with the X-men movies from the early 2000's, and now they have `universes' like with Spider-man noway home that is a part of the MCU. Well, what if the FNAF movies are a separate universe but still sort of follow the same plot for the most part, just in a different way? *hence why Vanessa is in the first movie, and not in a spin-off movie or security breach movie* I've noticed he kind of wrote the games, like how George Lucas wrote star wars. As in, the first part is *i know this probably isn't the correct number* fourth in the series, ect. So, maybe he had the idea to make a FNaFCU? So, maybe the books are a part of the `extended universe?'
