Guy what type are lake is this where homes can't be built on land? I live on the TVA chain of lakes where homes are everywhere. I'm unifiliar with the restrictions on that type of lake.

The lack of homes on land has nothing to do with the lake or TVA, that’s just bc we’re surrounded by a national park on one side and a national forest on the other. 🙌

We go every year after the season which is the week after Labor Day in September when all the tourists go home and it’s so magical. Always love, love, love the back story of creators' lives...this one was so fun! As middle Tennessee people, hubs and I used to do the Nantahala and Ocoee rivers by canoes and kayaks. Way back around the time you youngins were born. This one reminded me of the fun we used to have in your neck of the woods. Hubs passed two years ago so this video is special to me. Water oaks are my favorite tree as it is hardwood, but grows three times faster than other oaks. Your job would have been a dream job for my brothers and me, but only one can still make long hikes. The only way we made small money was trail building or restoration. One did it part time after retirement, the rest of us on demand, as we could make more per hour.

Growing up, my parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles all had lake houses, and I had an awesome childhood. My mom said that I was swimming before I could even walk. I would love to live the lake life again, and with the peacefulness and serenity of your lake, it would be amazing. Lakes here in central Alabama are so crowded with boats, jet skis, etc. it's dangerous and never peaceful and quiet.

Very interesting day. I am amazed at your knowledge of trees and male/female and their differences. I have a goat and I feed her tree leaves because they have more minerals and nutrition in them because of the depth of the roots. I also eat leaves from the hawthorn tree because of their medicinal properties in heart health. Mother Nature is an abundant healer and mother of all. it was a brown rice + lentil base with shredded carrots/kale/red cabbage (sauté veggies for 5-7 min), then a little avocado and lemon juice on top! ❤️
