Lisa, for the potato salad you can do your potatoes and eggs together in the Instant Pot. Use 1.5 c of water, your cut potatoes, eggs on top of potatoes, the 5 min high pressure, 5 min natural release, then quick release. Cool eggs in ice water bath. I love doing this, so fast and I don't have to stand around watching pots, or heating up my kitchen.

Lisa, once I saw Martha Stewart add the rosemary and bay leaves UNDER THE SKIN of a Turkey and it was so pretty once cooked. Don’t know if that works work with chicken, as I’m a designer not a cook for sure. I think that’s why I love your cooking videos so much. You have taught me a lot. My mother loves cooking like you. All of what you cooked looks fantastic! It so nice to be able to pull herbs and vegetables from the garden. Have you ever made a frittata? It is like a baked omelette and uses a lot of eggs. In my family we make it with hot Italian sausage bacon ricotta mozzarella basket cheese and little grated cheese..delicious! 😊

I just learned how to cook my potatoes for potato salad in the instant pot! It keeps in the flavor of the potatoes and is more consistent in texture. You should look it up. I forgot how long.

Ciao I have seen your video of some months ago and I'm astonished that you managed to cook a wonderful panettone. It is a traditional Italian Christmas cake, we Italians eat it every Christmas of our life but we are not able to cook it, we think it is too difficult and we don't ever try and by it. How cute....baby bun and making buns shot......my husband prefers sloppy joes or tacos instead of hamburger most of the time...... But last week I make browned hamburger, precooked potatoes from the instant pot cut into small chunks and I browned it in some chicken fat, added canned cubed tomatoes which have more flavor then the bland produce from the store, some poblano peppers chopped as well as garlic and onions.... He enjoyed it with potato bread and cucumbers with dill and Italian dressing.... How’s your garden doing? I think your date nite is so great.....especially it’s a weekly habit.....there’s no littles in my house now but our habit is everyday when my husband comes home we sit outside sometimes by a fire or if it rains on our front porch an just talk and watch the birds at our feeders and listen to the frogs in the small pond with the fountain ...relaxing ....I usually make dinner an hour before he gets home so I can just relax from then on.

I've made homemade mayonnaise for years but it's always been a chore drizzling the oil into the blender and makes a mess. I tried just dumping it all into a jar this afternoon and it was almost instant and without the mess! I was floored. Also, the mayo today was for potato salad to which I add acv, raw onion and green olives :)
