This explanation of the sequence of events makes so much more sense than the official narrative, which seems to paint Hmas as just going in and killing/kidnapping people.

Of course it does. They can't tell the truth and launch a genocide, can they? They have to say Hamas, the resistance, killed for the sake of killing. If they said the people we oppressed defeated us and we killed our own civilians, nobody would support them. So they lie.

Brainwashed "sheeple" who only listen to legacy main stream media and "drink the Kool-Aid" so to speak. Free Free Palestine! 💧🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🌊 One Canadian news outlet, Global, recently showed ONLY Israeli prisoners being released by Hamas. All were chubby and obviously well fed, and the Hamas liberation fighters treated some elderly women with great care and respect. Not once did Global report on the 39 of 8,000 Palestinian captives of apathetic Israel, nor did Global News report that many Palestinian youth were physically abused and tortured while in Israeli captivity. AWFUL "news" reporting, and certainly someone watching only main stream media such as this will NOT get an accurate description of the situation. For God sake... The main stream media never even retracted their misinformation stating ivermectin is solely a "horse dewormimgc medication: they never retracted this nor corrected it to state that since 1978 ivermectin has proven itself to be one of the safest, cheapest and most effective medicines for saving millions of lives in developing countries! I kept wondering why all footage shown by IDF to the media was "aftermath" of the attack. Now it makes sense because it wasn't Hamas who caused the cars to melt and the houses to be burnt in that short period of time. Hamas came in with paraglides and tuktuks carrying guns and possibly grenade, but they are not enough to attack and kill 1,200 plus, or set a large group of vehicles on fire within minutes. Apache Helicopters can do such damage though, which IDF has.

@@jackjones1249 Interview, Israeli Col. Nof Erez: I saw numerous drones above every settlement on a computer image, which we can see in every IDF command. There is a serious problem with using drones on our territory when we don’t know who is the enemy and who is the emergency squad, and who are our soldiers - by 10 am there were some already there. And identifying them from the air without the FLIR [thermal imaging] system of the attack helicopter or the drone is totally impossible. If there is no one for you to talk to, and they can tell you, “My location is near or at house so-and-so, and everyone on the other side is an enemy,” it’s very hard to hit and to launch. The Hannibal Directive that is also being talked about, it’s a command for stopping the capture of a single vehicle, authored on the basis of kidnappings carried out in Lebanon thirty years ago. There too is no unequivocal decision that the attack helicopter or drone that identifies the vehicle will fire upon the vehicle itself in order to prevent the kidnapping at any cost, obviously also at the cost of harm to the hostage. There is no unequivocal directive for that. Lior Kodner: And did it happen this time? Nof Erez: We don’t know if hostages were harmed at the stage when helicopters and drones began firing towards the fence, when they saw the masses entering and exiting. Lior Kodner: But Hannibal Directive is on purpose. If it was used, it was used intentionally. If hostages were hurt in this case, that is something else. Nof Erez: The Hannibal Directive was apparently applied at a certain stage, because at the moment they understand there is a kidnapping, they immediately say, “Guys, this is Hannibal.” kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGeWn6Ccl66IeKMsi=sv318BPIZ4ezzV66

On the subject of the 'Hannibal Directive' (named after the Carthago's military leader who preferred suicide rather than capture by Rome), which goes back to 1986 and has existed in various versions (written, oral), became public knowledge in 2003, apparently revoked in 2016, but apparently applied again in 2023, see the wiki entry on this subject. Essentially it means that there's a preference for killing one's own people (usually soldiers, but in the 2023 cases also civilians) rather than see them survive as hostages who could be used for political gains.
@elsonck2523
@elsonck2523 11 ай бұрын
What soldier, citizen accepts this as a rational law and why are the IDF commanders employing it if it was rescinded in 2016? Israel thinks itself not only above international law but also it's own state laws which to its own detriment worldwide has even brought its legitimacy as a state into question. The world is watching Israel's arrogant and brutal behavior against an occupied Gaza under their control for the past 20 years and we will not let them return to business as usual once this conflict is settled.

I'm sure Israel thinks anyone killed in their response to the attack is the fault of Hamas seeing as how Hamas launched the attack. It's an authoritarian response we see here in the US whenever police kill anyone. Blame everything on the perpetrator and ignore the police's actions.

Claude yep! every time , There was a shooting in Denver in the last couple of years in the downtown district late at night when everyone was out on street from the bars , Some guy got in a fight and cops rolled up saying he had a gun and then shot him and 4-5 bystanders and then went on tv and blamed the dude for them capping people . Its completely deranged .

@RozCannistraro-zd9do in Cincinnati a man was fleeing the police on foot. A cop overhead it on his radio and even though it wasn't an all points bulletin, and he wasn't called to respond, and he wasn't even in the vicinity he decided to get in on the action. He took off in his cruiser without lights or siren, ran a red-light, broadsided a car and killed 3 teenagers. He was completely absolved of culpability and the guy running from police was charged and convicted with their deaths.

The organizers of the event extended the event until October 7th! ...I think Hamas asked Israel to extend the ceremony for an additional day? If the IDF did just indiscriminately lay waste to entire areas without consideration for the safety of Israeli Citizens then most of the survivors will probably be told to keep quiet about it by their 'trauma councilors'.There will however be those that will speak out, particularly if they are Foreign Nationals.

Excellent journalism deserving of a Walkley Award (or whatever in your country). Facts, accurate details, corroborating evidence, cross-reference. I'm not a journalist, but this is the most complete account (so far) that I have seen, and I followed it up since I saw the hanggliders on the day, which was awesome, and then footage from the helicopter, Haareetz report etc. You have reconstituted a lot more, which matches what we knew. I hope you will publish a full time and space line when you have the time to be able to build the complete story. One thing for sure, the IDF narrative is mostly if not all complete rubbish. And on this account, it cannot even be accepted. They could supply the source material if they wish but it would have to be carefully analysed for fake events, as we have seen and shown too many times. How come the corporate media (such as the ABC here in Australia) is happy to accept their "evidence" without the minimum identification of reporter, witness victims etc. This is not journalism; this is propaganda. They should be taken off the air or sanctionned for gross irresponsibility. The trouble, of course, is that our governments and these media companies are complicit in war crimes and genocide, in this case by a terrorist state that commits abuse on a daily basis and apartheid and in this instance, ethnic cleansing declared by the Israeli ministers.

I'm posting your videos & articles on FB. Many of my high school classmates - graduated in 1977 - have the Israeli flag superimposed on their icons. My maternal grandfather had a cross burned in his yard for supporting black civil rights. Mama just told me this revelation about 5 years ago - doesn't know when this happened. Granddaddy was mayor for two terms in my small town during the 1970's. The black population elected him because he paved the roads & put street lights in their neighborhoods so they wouldn't have to go to Wednesday & Sunday night church services in the dark & in the mud. This was in the 70's, so this is just an example of how blacks were treated in the South. Guess I'm a human rights supporter like Granddaddy was. I don't give a shit who doesn't like it. In my posts, I told evangelicals if they still support Israel, they have no souls.

Seems like Israel had minimal personnel on purpose and then took hours to respond so saying Hamas over ran them easily is not the way to look at it.
@grinningchicken

Some of the military guys were like it was just arrogance and over-reliance on technology. They thought any approach would be detected by cameras and repelled by machine gun drones giving them ample time to organize a response. They never expected that Hamas would and could learn. Hamas launched rocket and they hid in the bases thinking that salvo was the surprise Hamas had waited and were just stunned to see armed men right outside their bases.

It was all planned by Israel. Israel ignored intel from the US and Egypt, then September withdrew private weapons from those residing in southern Israel, purposely reducing the IDFs at the border making it easy for Hamas to break in. Then didn't respond until after over 7 hours. How was Hamas able to move over 200 people including kids across the border Note, Netanyahu presented a map of Israel at the UN in September, with Palestine totally erased from the map. FYI, the ethnic cleansing is about the Gas, in Gaza and because of the Gas Europe is complicit in the genocide.. #GAZA BLOOD GAS

I question why the rave was relocated closer to the base. Like it was done on purpose, which makes me believe Israel knew an attack was coming. Also, Bibi said the burned bodies were bound! If they were Hamas fighters then IOF had be the ones who bound them. Did IOF killed them before they burned them or did they burn them alive? Have those bodies been returned to Hamas and are they part of the fire pause deal?
