I love your family dynamics so much!! It's great to see how much fun you have together. Enjoy the rest of your holiday :) Oh, and you definitely inspired me to pick up Still Life because I'm also going to Florence in September!

Your dad's turn of phrase "geography of a book" is the perfect description for being able to find that page you need to refer back to. I shall shamelessly steal this phrase for my own selfish uses. Thanks for the fun. Love you see you all laugh together!

I 100% agree with your dad re: kindles. Super useful for people that like having access to lots of books at all times but for me I love the tactile nature of a book in my hands. For me it's much more satisfying being able to see how much of a book I've read, holding the pages in my hands, and also the feeling of not having any kind of tech in front of me makes me feel like I've relaxed for a while.

I felt the same for a long time. I got a kindle about a year ago because I’m away for work a lot of the time but I’m a big reader so I can’t bring all of the books I’ll read away with me. I have actually grown to enjoy reading on the kindle. Though nothing beats a real book

I quite enjoyed this video, as many of yours, Am I the only one who actually thinks that there should be an entire series of this? It’ll be so unique and distinctive among many booktubers out here, and it’ll frankly worth the hype I mean the three of you discussing about the book you’ve read so far each month as this one, it’ll be one of the greatest ideas, it’s not a suggestion it’s a proposition…

I hated Where the Crawdads Sing. If she had gone out to feed the birds one more time, I’m sure I would have started crying. One line to explain that she fed the birds whenever she had enough food to share would have been plenty. It was an awful experience for me.

Mr. Dad steals the show 🙃 I'm curious about Village School, I've read once a book about housekeeping in the 40's or early 50's (a self-help book of sorts), and it was delightful.

Oooh, controversial opinion here but I'm warming to my Kindle!!! Wasn't a fan at first but its growing on me 😊 I'll never turn my back on physical books though because there's nothing better than passing a good book onto someone else and you can't do that with a kindle!

I’m so jealous of you glamorous people in stunning Tuscany. Jaunty camera angles should be compulsory. “No plane crashes in sight…apart from…a few”. Classic. I also can’t be serious when my sibling looks at my face and force them to look in the other direction so I can speak. This is very relatable content. Except in a more stunning location.
