Best line in the video: "I keep it....I shouldn't try to claim I keep it simple... I guess I don't." Hahaha! Love this video Matt! Beautiful new boat. Thanks for sharing you tackle. Made my Friday morning.

You'd think that moment would be a turning point but judging by the unopened TW box sitting right here, it doesn't seem to have had an impact 😂
@Tbowie13 Жыл бұрын
@@tacticalbassin Well in all fairness "Keeping it simple" means different things to different folks. To some it means tell me the best color. To us with the illness, it means only 3-4 colors in each category ( shad representation, craw, goby/sculpin, and transparent and mat finish) and obviously for clear water, stain and chocolate milk)! 🤣 So yeah...I had thought about starting a KZbin channel of just doing tackle order box openings. I realized the other day I have well over 400 jerkbaits. When you put me on Karashi's I ordered 10, out the gate cause there's all the MB colors I just have to have. Its a fun sickness.😆 Glad my wife doesn't read the comments.

Your storage set up is how it should be, so many people don't understand how weight distribution works and how important that really is. You have more tackle in your boat than I do in my entire arsenal, I love it! Another great video.
@jeffthebean1 Жыл бұрын
Coming from the kayak world for the last five or so years-weigh distribution is everything. Some folks with boats don’t think about it until they have two buddies in the boat with their gear, and then you’re just kinda stuck for the day.
@c.shoefish Жыл бұрын
@@jeffthebean1 yeah absolutely. In my boat, when I'm by myself I actually throw a 50 lbs bag of sand in the back bilge area to help performance because of where I had to put my trolling motor batteries. Before, it was too stern heavy and towed like shit (performance was great by myself, but if anyone was with me, it was too much) so I moved my batts towards the bow and it tows better (more tongue weight) and performs better when someone is with me. My boat is actually faster with someone else with me in the boat, which is all due to weight distribution

After I started buying higher end baits when I switched out my tackle boxes because I didn’t want anything to rust. I’ve got a compartment full of Plano edge boxes now for my hard baits and they have been great!! I don’t have as much tackle as Matt but enough to fill the compartment up with a small amount of space left so my boxes would slide a little bit cause the inner compartment is plastic so I took the rubber anti-fugitive mats from harbor freight and cut them and put them in the bottom of the compartment and now my boxes don’t slide and it’s also makes it more quite if you drop your boxes in it cause they ain’t slamming into that hard plastic bottom and making that loud thump sound through the boat. Just a cheap tip for anyone that might have the same problem.

Hi Bill! Used is DEFINITELY the way to go! There are so many options that save 10's of thousands of dollars and don't give up anything. I say all the time that Cobras are the most overlooked boat in the game. Awesome boat!! I think I would end up just looking at my graphs all day long, lol. There's something special about jet boats and river fishing for me. Thier just the ultimate atv of a fishing boat. Sending it over a sand bank or logs in the river to get where no one goes, all to get to wild fish. If I hit the lottery I'm buying dozens of river bank properties through out the country, sticking trailers on them and stashing jet boats at them. I'll use the rivers as my roads.
