All this could have been avoided if the American aide package was passed earlier, and also Nato and the US should of been using the winter to stock pile ammunition and weapons for Ukraine due to lack of support for the winters of 23 and 24 Ukraine lost its advantage and momentum on the battlefield. Stupid political issues that cost the unnecessary lives of military soldiers and also the civillion population.

there's barely any money for weapons in the bill. 3 months worth at 2023 levels of expenditure. maybe 4-5 months worth at the current highly reduced (starving) expenditure levels. I think that's why it passed, to get the republicans off the hook but barely helping. it's over folks.

@@icu17siberia I did. Ukraine got ~$13 billion in new weapon spend in it. They got about $97 billion up to December 31, 2023 for weapons which equals ~$4.4 billion a month for 22 months. So they have about 3 months worth if they expend as they were through 2023. Maybe they can make it last 5 months. It's over.

Between 2022 and the end of 2023 multiple rounds of aid were send. The same is still required now and will need to be continued. Vote dems.

Again I get my hopes up, but alas... I WILL NOT LOSE HOPE! In the bigger scheme of things, this is but a minor setback. The needed supplies will arrive. The Russians are now losing 1,000 men a day, and more. Each and every day they are losing multiple tanks, APC's, trucks, artillery batteries and much more. Tactical retreats are sometimes necessary, but it does not signal the final outcome. At this point, one battle does not decide the war. Bodanov and Syrski predicted this scenario. It is not the end. Really? The Russians launch 40-50 FAB-500/1000/1500 precision glide bombs, they dominate in artillery 5 times, they dominate in suicide drones 2-3 times, they have extensive air defense and they launch cruise & ballistic missiles at targets hundreds and thousands kms into Ukraine. How could they possibly have higher losses??

Good. There are a lot of jobs not on the front. For every guy on the front there are 9 people supporting them. Draft dodgers do jail time. Democracy needs to be defended. We didn't want to go to Vietnam but, we went. It will make a man out of him. If he joins instead of waiting to be drafted he can pick the job he wants.
