For some reason, I find these sort of scenarios far more unnerving than some run-of-the-mill ghost story. Slowly cooking to death, alone, as the world around you gets darker and darker, knowing that there's no conceivable way of escaping? Nope! I'll take my chances with that creepy TV ghost from The Ring, thankyouverymuch. Yet a part of me is thinking, if I had a day to live and had the choice between dying on a hospital bed or experiencing a one way-trip through a gas giant's atmosphere, I might as well go out the interesting way. I'd be high on opioids, of course - I still wouldn't want to do that while sober.

Idk if it's just me, but there's sort of a strange kind of (lovecraftian?) horror to scenarios like this. Just to think of being in such an incredibly foreign environment like space or a gas giant, hurtling to my doom, just thinking of it freaks me out a bit. Jokes aside, that's actually a pretty good question. Uranus has a very different structure compared to Saturn and Jupiter - it is what's known as an ice giant (Neptune also falls in that category) - so I'd imagine the experience would be very different from Saturn.

I had a dream that ended with me falling into a black hole. As soon as I crossed the event horizon, there was a quick blip of light, loud static sound, and an intense feeling all over my body simultaneously (kind of like a buzzing feeling, as if I was being shocked). What woke me up was when I walked out of my house and looked up to see a huge red planet falling down slowly at me. I started running where I thought it was gonna fall for some reason. Then it shrunk like the size of the house and BOOM landed like 20 feet away from me less than a second. A shock wave or something made me into the sky then right when I was about to hit the floor I woke up and jerked my head up and my heart was beating fast and I couldn’t sleep that whole week 😂

I had a dream that ended with me falling into a black hole. As soon as I crossed the event horizon, there was a quick blip of light, loud static sound, and an intense feeling all over my body simultaneously (kind of like a buzzing feeling, as if I was being shocked). Then complete blackness. No sound. No feeling. Nothing; seemed as if I didn't even have any thoughts during that time as well. That went on for about 10 straight seconds until I heard the faint sound of a television, followed by the feeling of air rushing past me, then finally with my eyes opening -- now awake.

I guess some might consider it that way. Though, personally, I don't think I can get "nightmares". No matter how horrific the scenario might seem, when I wake up, I always find it interesting. I feel them like an amusement park ride: "Let's do that again!" That aside, I remember what that dream was about involving a black hole. I was an interstellar marine of some sort on a mission to stop the harvest of valuable, life-bearing worlds. Upon reaching a solar system in question, it turned out to be an ambush. What appeared to be an attempt to pull nearby planets into a dimensional rift/wormhole turned out to be a ruse to grab our attention. "They", whoever they were, were planning to wipe out our fleet stationed around the sector of the galaxy we were patrolling. They engaged their newly crafted warp weapon. The whole space around us started rapidly shifting, ripping our ships apart in the process. All the nearby planets were destroyed while being forced at immense speed toward their host star, which soon collapsed into a black hole. Needless to say, that's where the experience happened -- I was inexorably pulled in. The experience of dying in a black hole I thought was very interesting.
