Ginger root is your friend and so is water. My skin looks amazing. I sometimes drink fenugreek water too. But as much water as I drink, I could float.

This is my first time listening to this podcast? Video? I'm 74, I'm very active and very healthy looking skin (for my age ;) ), but there's always room for improvement. I wish the guest had been allowed to talk more and give the title of her book. Please have her back, so she can go into more detail.

Why invite a guest expert if the host is going to dominate the conversation with long monologues about herself?

Eat 2 times a day and 16hours of intermittent fasting is my life schedule. Sunday- cheat day More fruits and veggies No SUGAR, except dates and jaggery
@IloveCamels3353 жыл бұрын
I agree about the intermittent fasting. Its one of the best things one can do from my own experience. I have to admit I do not always eat the most healthy things, I love chocolate and ice cream etc but I have done the intermittent fasting all my life, long before it was trendy, without even knowing that it is beneficial, I just did not have so much time during the day so I only ate at night after work. Rest of the day I did not. And given my diet I really have pretty decent skin for my age. Now in my 40ies I pay much better attention to what I eat, I try to choose healthier options and more greens and veggies compared to former years. But yes in conclusion I would say if you pay attention to your nutrition and don´t overeat and give body periods without having to digest.. that alone will help a lot in your skin and overall health.

Don’t forget to just enjoy and find happiness in life. Not saying having a regime is stopping that, but just a reminder. I know for myself, I can get caught up in the specifics and forget to just laugh and enjoy too! :)

I have always had skin issues....I have HS Hydridinitus Supertiva) so this means boils, abcesses, celluitis since age 12. I only use mild goatsmilk soap and EO (non toxic) products. I have three Autoimmune Conditions and have been working on healing those now using Functional Medicine now for almost 6 years. I don't drink or smoke, I don't eat fast foods, junk foods or even eat out. I detox regularily and I only eat AIP (Autoimmune Protocol/organic GMO foods.) Once i started taking Bio-TE bioidentical hormones my skin errupted in warts, skin tags, and flat brown spots all over my chest and shoulders. My health is better but my skin is much worse. Thi smakes no sense to me.

@@painterdeb1147 yep the essential oil company. I know it get a bad rap but it’s been around for over 25 years and there is no incident of anyone being harmed, even, (gasp) lol ingesting… Young Living. Not all brands that toot to be pure are and some are in fact dangerous. YL is not one of them.
