I think an underappreciated line in Cypher pt. 1 is when Suga say "I'm dope man, I'm Chopin off the beat", Chopin was a pianist and composer but Suga uses the name in place of the word choppin' to give it a really nice double meaning. When he says Chopin there's a quick little flutter of piano keys

"If you're jealous, go to the *hospital* and take 2 weeks *rest* ." • J-hope said "Jealousy is a disease, fool, hope you get well soon." " *Hide* your jealousy, I can see your *IP address* ." • Suga warns that he can see all the hate and envious comments and they've been known to sue if necessary. "I haven't been to the *Army* yet but my hobby is sharpshootin. "We are bulletproof" became a *Big Hit* ." • The amount of wordplay. Shout to the fans and a little flex. It's their company's name but it also means the track blew up. "This is a *kingdom* . I'm a king, you're a dumb. I'll chew and swallow you. You're bubble gum." •RM used the word kingdom and broke it into 2 syllables to then proceed and state facts. That he's a king in the rap game and the hater is simply a dummy. "Get lost after 8 measures, you *old caterpillars* . I'll give you this beat, give it a try." • Old caterpillars never turned into butterflies. Meaning they never underwent metamorphosis. They're stuck in a rut and don't change.

I love you calling out Hobi's lyrics. They're always deceptively clever. Like somewhere along the way it became kind of a meme that "Hobi's verses slap but they don't make sense" and that's so ridiculous. He's very referential with literature and pop-culture and some of that can go over your head (especially if you're not Korean) and some of his raps play the long game so the verse is a bar, not a just a line of it. He uses a lot of metaphor too. I really appreciate you guys taking the time to read what he's saying. He's got incredible bars too. He's the second most prolific writer in the group and a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association along with Joon and Yoongi. He deserves to be known for his writing too.

All of BTS at one point were partial members of KOMCA (I think that’s the right abbreviation). But for the three rappers that used to get some much sh!t from “true” and underground rappers to now be full fledged members of KOMCA is the best flex of them all. KOMCA only upgrades 25 people a year to full membership. That’s the best proof to me to all the haters.

The way I observe: • RM has a certain finesse and grace to his rapping both in flows and lyrics. • Suga is raaaaaaaw that it’s ironic he’s called suga. The only way he’s sweet when it comes to rap is the way he puts a period in anyone he disses. • J-Hope is J-Flow. Man this reaction was amazing guys! I'm so glad you actually did all Cyphers in 1 video, and that's what sets you apart from other reactors. You don't make us reach a certain like goal before we can see the rest. Yes I kind of just threw some shade at certain reactors 🙄 Also thank you for breaking down all the bars! Even if it makes it possibly even longer, Idc bc the longer the better! You are honestly one of my favorite people to watch reactions to bts bc you guys are so genuine, and honest, and it's obvious that you have a clear love for bts and their music just like we (ARMY) do. Keep the reactions coming bc I will ALWAYS watch them. Much love to you guys! Also the Cyphers is a clear representation of hobi's journey as a rapper. He was already a dancer for many yrs before becoming a rapper, so already had an edge. He starts at level 1 which is already pretty good bc he had rm and yoongi by his side to help him learn how to rap. Then he just goes to the next level, and the next, until he reaches his OWN level. It becomes very obvious when he finds his rap style, and his flow. Like in every song, you'll know it's hobi bc of his flow, it's unmistakable. It's usually always my favorite verse bc of the flow alone FUN FACT: Idk if you know this or not, but in Cypher pt. 4 Namjoon is responding to all the things that have been said to him from haters in the past, so it's pretty much just like a whole summary of everything that has ever been said to him, like the way he pronounces certain things, his English, his appearance not being like the typical kpop idol, and the one where he says sorry for breathing; he was sent a death threat, so he's basically saying sorry I'm still alive hater 🤷♀️ but I hope you can still love yourself after this

@@WhatchaGot2Say most reactors do that because they're literally just here to do this as a job (and quite honestly that's okay, I can't see why anyone would be annoyed with that...) and then other reactors do it just to be silly or be sarcastic because in reality they're going to upload it anyway it's just going to be on their time instead of the people spamming "please reacts" (which again, can't understand why anyone would be mad at that)

What's great about the Cypher series is when those were released, they were still not at the top like now. Especially 1 & 2. For 3 & 4 they gained some attention from westerners but in Korea they were still considered 'nugu' (Explain why they won the grand prize in 2016 and so many kpop fans protested cause koreans at that time didn't believe their albums sales was so great). And now years have passed and all the things they said in Cypher's lyrics has all become reality. They have become the standard for Kpop, so high that nobody can touch them now. That's incredible if you ask me.

Supreme Boi was a trainee with Yoongi and Rm at the auditions he came 1st and Yoongi 2nd 🙂 but when Hitman Bang decided to change the direction of the group Supreme Boi changed to become a producer. There are many rumours why he changed from being problematic and him quitting because he didnt want to be an idol.Either way he still works there and sometimes appears as a DJ on stage too Well worth waiting for I did watch parts last night but wanted to rewatch yunno when I was awake and it wasnt 4am 😃

always remember that when your talking about production, these guys always have a hand in whats going on. The three of them have the most production and lyrics credits in all of the BTS material. I love how Blaze it's reacting not only to the surface of the words, but the meaning and history behind them and even the frame of mind and personality of each of the boys. He is right, you can tell that Yoongi's rap is different flavor from Hobi or Namjoon, not only because they each has their own style but because like all art, it is tinged and colored by the life experiences of the artist. It truly is an education watching you guys' video, so much fun but also give a lot of perspective on hiphop genre as someone who isn't a connoisseur. You guys keep apologizing for pausing and re-reading. Don't. Really. Every ARMY has done the same, and truly it shows how much value and importance you place on the lyrics they work so hard at. Suga's verse in cypher pt. 1 where he says "Chopin off the beat" is a wordplay of chopping verb to the name of a legendary pianist named Chopin. That's also the reason why you hear a piano sample in that verse. Honestly Suga is crazy as a rapper so are RM and Jhope✊🏻
