Unless I'm mistaken, at the end of the movie, Doctor Strange is not the Sorcerer Supreme. Wong made it clear that he hadn't by saying that without a Sorcerer Supreme, then the earth is now more likely to attract otherworldly beings for possible attacks.

I wish they kept Dormammu's original design. I don't really like him being a sentient LSD head. Dormammu is actually from a alien species called Faltine, who are extra-dimensional energy beings made of "magic". Would make much more sense to keep his original flaming head design. Also, I'm pretty sure we'll see some sort of manifestation of Dormammu in Thor 3: Ragnarok. He made a deal with Strange to not threat Earth... But there are 8 other Realms he could attack.

The time loop with Dormamu could have lasted a thousand years, it is a timeless dimension after all. Additionally, I think Dormamu was defeated not by a lack of patience but by the fact that as an immortal, all powerful being, to be imprisoned within a time loop as he was could seem like a fate worse than death and not simply an inconvenience.

So i live in Brisbane Australia and Thor was filming here earlier this year. He was wearing the same exact costume as he was in the credits and in Brisbane he was filming a scene with Loki, so that makes me think that Strange is definately in the movie, because otherwise thor would have to ditch his brother at some point and go see strange and that would be very disjointed so he definately is actualy in Ragnarok

I just hope the reveal of mystical powers, alternate universe and time manipulation doesn't resort to a deus ex machina in Infinity War, where all the heroes are dead and apparently there's no hope and then out of the blue, a very clever backup plan is activated and the heroes are alive again or even better, they never died in the 1st place because reality was rewritten. It really kills the pathos and the drama and makes the heroes OP as hell. I don't think Strange will lead the Avengers. He might lead an MCU version of the original Defenders (no relation with the upcoming Netflix series), although if he'll appear in Thor Ragnarok, there's a chance he'll team up with Thor and Hulk. If Clea appears in a sequel and if they maintain her origin, there's a good chance Dormammu will also appear in a sequel (Dormammu and Clea are uncle and niece in the comics). I really hope that the 1st after credits scene (with Thor) is taken from Thor Ragnarok, meaning we'll see that scene again. Oh, and I want that beer stein. #beersteinforwankers I knew that the Eye was the Time Gem the moment he starts using it on the apple.

Hubby and I saw the movie yesterday. And if we'd had the time and money, we would've gotten right back in line and watched it again. I spent half of the film with my mouth hanging agape -- and I mean that literally. Someone asked me to describe the film in a nutshell, so I told them it was Harry Potter meets Matrix meets Inception, but that wasn't really adequate enough. I've never seen action sequences like that, EVER. If you've got the funds, spring for the IMAX and 3D.

Mirza Muradbasic I've heard about Hercules being part of the New Avengers after the civil war story arc. It would make sense that Marvel would use part of Thor: Ragnarok to introduce Hercules and the Olympians, if this is true. I expect Infinity War to be filled to the brim with heroes and villains.
