This was the last movie I saw with my best buddy Dan before he died. On my birthday, we bought IMAX tickets to The Force Awakens, and when it was over we snuck into the roadshow screening of TH8, and we both agreed it was the more fun of the two experiences.

I think it’s because it’s a much slower pace film compared to his films before this one. Personally I think the slow pacing adds to the suspense of the ending tbh
@dizzyrascal50158 ай бұрын
@@heisenbergII I hundred percent agree with you. I enjoyed the slow pace as it gave us time to learn everything about each character and give us time to think who is telling the truth and who is telling a lie. All good murder mysteries go at a slow pace. Plus I'm a sucker for Westerns and movies set around that time.

Django had an absurd soundtrack at times, the ending was too comic book like imo? Great dialogue nonetheless.

Tarantino's most underrated film and I don't know why. I love the location. The acting and the actors are amazing. Everyone does an exceptional job besides Madsen. He isn't bad though. Always wanted him to give Goggins a bigger part and he shines. His and Jackson's delivery is some of the best in the game. Maybe not his best film but it's the one I rewatch the most.

I just noticed, on my probably 80th watch, after John asks Daisy to play another verse, the camera cuts to Bob and Oswald, and right in the center of the frame, is the rope Daisy later gets hung with.
