I Tues this adventure: "10 Utterly Idiotic Strategies That We Can't Believe Actually Worked". Here, I'll even do half the work for you: Star Control 2: Let the bad guys kill everyone. Winning SC2 requires collecting a bunch of quest items, and as per usual in gaming each is held by an NPC who asks you to run some errand before he'll hand it over. The game also has a time limit, and when it runs out the villains start killing all other life in the galaxy planet by planet. Which means you can just sit on your bum until the time runs out, loot the items you need from the depopulated planets, reach the endgame just in time to save Earth, and get the same ending you would have gotten if you'd played it right. Final Fantasy II: Beat your friends half to death. In FF2 you don't have character levels- instead your stats go up as you use them. When you attack, it raises your strength, when you get attacked it raises your HP, when you cast spells it raises your MP, and so on. Thus the best way to grind is to pick a fight with some low-level random encounter, then have your party ignore the enemy and beat on each other instead. Wasteland 2: Give a bumbling incompetent a rocket launcher. You get a lot of NPC recruits in Wasteland 2, and many of them are not very good in a fight. But explosive weapons, like grenades and rockets, have no skill requirements and always hit the mark precisely, so even Ralphy- a teenaged boy with no notable skills beyond fixing toasters- can be a crack shot with an RPG-7. God Hand: Suck at the game. Your rank in God Hand goes up or down depending on how well you play, and the enemies become tougher the higher your rank. Hence a player who barely knows what he's doing will have a much easier time than one who's mastered the combat system. I speak from experience. Bayonetta: Die. Using healing items or continuing when defeated guarantees you the lowest possible rank at the end of the level, meaning you won't get any bonus halos. On the other hand, if you eschew healing and just restart the level from the beginning when you die, you keep all your halos. After several deaths, you'll have enough to buy some good accessories and life upgrades, making the game much easier. And one more as a bonus: Every Game Ever: Stop playing. We've all been there: you stay up all night fighting that obnoxious boss, trying to git gud and failing every time. 1, 2, even 5 AM in the morning, and you're still losing. Finally you rage quit and call it a night. The next day, you take another crack at it and beat the boss on the second try. You'd actually gotten gud around 11 the previous night, but couldn't apply that gud for victory because of fatigue. You probably knew this on some level, but we always grossly underestimate how much the exhaustion is affecting our skills. Knocking off early and being well-rested for the next session is by far a better idea.

Kotor 2 is still one of my fav games of all time Star Wars or beyond. I do agree playing it with all the cuts re-added is even better but I actually liked the ending quite a bit. Kreya’s whole outlook and motivations (while admittedly a bit tough to fully understand at first) are incredibly interesting and deep. Plus combining her whole deal with exploring why Revan did what he did (before the old republic pulled the whole mind control horsesh*t) made the whole game this gritty moral grey area that will always hold up.

First time I played it was kind of intense and I was impressed but after beating it and playing a few more times I realized how short it was and how much they left out from the original. RE3 is the same length than RE2, but RE2 appears to be longer because it has two campaigns that are almost identical. In the other hand RE3 is more fun to play because of the “perfect dodge” move, only that improvement makes playability much better, there’s nothing more satisfying than performs a perfect dodge move to kill an enemy.

Why do you call this segment "Medieval Themed"? To my knowledge, there is nothing inherently Medieval about "Choose Your Own Adventure" stories or games, or Word puns that replace "Choose" with "Tues". I would not be the least bit surprised if the first "Choose your own adventure " stories were sci fi or horror based, rather than Medieval Fantasy.
@nootylicious42093 жыл бұрын
The first bunch of episodes we created were filmed and edited at the studio. Jules used to present these in front of a castle with animated passing mist to amplify that medieval feeling. Sadly however, that "thing" happened and we've retreated to the safety of our homes, meaning there isn't a possibility of using a green screen to get the castle back up again, hence why the series still retains that "medieval themed list" line in the intro. Also the first Choose Your Own Adventure book, The Cave Of Time, does look like there's a medieval setting in there, correct me if I'm wrong however..

Couple of games that left me thinking “Wait, was that it?” are Ratchet and Clank PS4, which cut so much from the original that the game felt so much shorter. It was still a good game, no doubt, big R&C fan here, but I did feel like the end arrived too soon. And the other is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. After playing PMD: Explorers of Sky, which lasted ages, and had an amazing story, when I reached the final fight on Gates to Infinity I was literally saying, “wait, we’re here already? Surely this isn’t the end yet?” But it was. Again, good while it lasted, just didn’t last as long as I was expecting compared to previous entries.
