@@icewallowcome_daily9802 To be fair the IV line was extremely expensive even by Samsung and Apple standards. The 5 IV was on the expensive side but still fine I guess, but their top of the line phone is insanely priced, come on. Here's hoping the V phones improve.

@@Ali-ss3kn But Samsung or Apple that cost a bit cheaper but compromises something for something else. Buy Sony and you get almost all the feature with smaller compromise. It's equal. It's like if Samsung give you an option to fix the problem with its phone, and you'll get Sony price. Its a price for quality. Because its built to last, its a given that it'll have a high price. Plus, apple do slow down its older phones and that itself made it much more pricier than Sony. Do the math. with Sony, you can use it for 5 years or more. With apple or Samsung, you can use it for 2-3 years or when the newer models comes out before something broke. If you calculate the price, Sony is much better priced. My conclusion is, Samsung and apple is for the mainstream normies who changes phone every week. Sony is for people that needs a phone and not an item for showing off to their friends. Both of that appeals to the mainstream because they're masters at hyping something that are already exist like it's some new invention. And the mainstream doesn't knows that, so they'll buy it.

I bought Xperia 1 iv a week ago I am shocked by the battery life The battery performance is amazing without games Without use the camera And with 60 hz , I got 9 hours screen on time I watch a lot of movies at high brightness and This time, the brightness of the phone is very high When we compare it to previous models However, the battery life is very strong with this 4k screen And I have never experienced heat in normal use The latest update seems to have improved the phone's temperature I feel Sony has improved its power management a lot + The big battery size makes the difference Now I'm thinking of buying Xperia 5 iv I need another phone because of my work Sony phones are the best phones I have ever used

The battery is crazy good. If it wasnt for the usage of the pro apps it would be heavenly. And the audio was incredible. I didnt notice anything while watching the video!

@@jonscott234 I used a third party upgrade site. If you're in the UK it's affordable mobiles, I was due an upgrade with Vodafone so worked out perfectly.

With GP-VPT2BT, phone could take 4k 120 fps over 1 hour. I think it's a must accessory for latest Xperia phone. 3.5mm jack could serve as external mic input like what I did. Video pro and cinema pro accepted external mic input.. all lenses support 20fps eyes AF which is something not available on other phone. Only people who really used XPERIA will appreciate it.. what else, microSD expansion, transfer through USB like slow lightning cable? I could plug microSD into PC and read all data.. directly.

Great review! I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Ecru White Sony Xperia 5 IV global version with 256gb onboard memory to go with my 512gb sd card. I am looking in to the link s buds as I've read that even through Bluetooth you get close to if not exactly what you will get with the 3.5 jack. Excited! And the music pro app is a great attraction for me with all the instruments that I have around the house. Keep up the great work.

Just watched on my Oppo Find X2 Pro. I am really impressed with how long the Xperia 5 IV lasted. I like the idea of their camera pro app giving the user full control, but concerned about it being a bit daunting.

It's not daunting at all. There is a learning curve....for like a day. I'm no camera expert but I figured it out easily enough when I got my Xperia. And if I can figure it out anyone can. Plus it's pretty clearly laid out and designed imho.

Well I just sold my Huawei P40 pro about 3 months ago and went back to my P30 pro. I have loved both of these phone's. Having looked over the specs of the 5iv and the 1iv I've opted to upgrade to the 5iv. It will be with me Friday. As long as it can keep up and exceed the class of the P30 pro I'll be happy. Let's face it Samsung and others use Sony's cameras anyway.

everything about this phone is great, except the point and shoot can be a challenge.. It takes really good picture but you have to be really steady. Comparing it to other compact phones the s22 is a lot better as a handy phone camera.

This was an amazing video. Im currently leaning towards the Pixel 7 Pro but this video alone made me consider a device that was nowhere close to contention. Excellent recording (both audio and video) and clean conversational delivery. Do u know how timely Sony is with OS updates? That might be the deciding factor.

Am I understanding this right? The voice over audio of this whole video was recorded through the phone's microphone? If so, I'm disappointed. In some points it sounds a bit like you're inside a can or something like a tunnel and at some points it sounds muddled, not consistent. For what it's worth, I have not watched any of your other videos so I don't know how you usually sound like in your videos compared to this one.

Some of it was recorded in the hotel room and I can tell you the acoustics were terrible in there. The second half of the VO was recorded back home.
