Man that sure brings back memories of my 51. Sure do still miss her after twenty five years. Had to give her up after having health issues at the time. You have this one sounding like a top. Also they look great with wire spoke wheels.

This car is at the garage where I work as we speak. It was resold after the show and ended up at the garage where I work for a suspension upgrade. Its being fitted with air suspension and power steering has been added. If anyone is interessted I can send some pictures of the car in its current state.

They didn't have computer modeling etc. In other words, I don't think it's fair to say it was a matter of budget.

On a flathead you shouldn’t have used a tap on the head bolt threads, you will fight leaks like crazy now.

Slush Boxes went out with the Dynaflow and Torqflite in the 1950s.
