This is such a beauty, and the mystery is so maddening - how could someone so talented disappear into the pages of time? I wonder if you could find a machinist/cycle guy who would love to tear it down and make engineering drawings, then sell the plan set as a museum fundraiser. The bike is more than a curio from the 'teens - a reproduction would be a valid roadworthy motorcycle for the roads today! Kit bike only, of course - I don't think it could pass smog! ;-) I wish I had the skill set - it would be heaven to be able to sit down with this bike and get into the mind of the Marvelous, Mysterious Mr. Traub! Thanks for the great videos, Matt. I love that you always make it about the bike, and not about you.

@Neal Head With the technical edge they had and if they could carry that mindset through to today, I think Harley Davidson would have had a hard time competing. The only point where they could gain is the price difference, because innovation also has its price.
