I vote theory number three. Also, the irate replies from UTV (which are in screenshots around the 23 or 24 minute mark) sound more hysterical or attention-seeking than they sound stern. Granted, these are only a handful of his comments and we are seeing them out of context and out of the larger chronological order. It’s possible and even likely that his prior comments directed at Archiver contained fewer histrionics or no histrionics at all. In either case, I still think these replies are kind of funny if for no other reason than the phrases like “THIS NEEDS TO STOP” and “STOP IMMEDIATELY” are completely unenforceable due to internet anonymity and physical distance between disputing parties that likely cannot be traversed in time for one or both parties to still give a shit. Edit: I changed the formatting from “no. 3” to “theory number three.” It originally appeared as though my first sentence was, “I vote no.” which was followed by a sentence fragment that didn’t make sense.

Fun fact: you don't have to be glamorous or extremely gorgeous to be stalked. I know someone who was stalked for 2 years who is an average person living an average life. Do you like The Archiver? Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when The Philmarilion came out in 2013, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole document has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to HWNDU, but I think The Archiver has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Ring of Phillip", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of Phillip, and the importance of love, it's also a personal statement about The Archiver himself. HEY UTV!

There are many calling cards and common tropes of someone hamming it up for the luls. How many dozens of "Look how cartoonishly strange I'm acting everybody. Oh no, my parents somehow found out about my cringey behavior and now I'm telling you all about this extremely embarassing event unprompted," stories from 4chan have you personally heard? Then there's the explanatory intro page to a document supposedly meant for his own personal use. There are constant references to things that are clearly someone trying to evoke a shocked reaction. My boy clearly got annoyed by the trip'friend' being an annoying narcissist trying to create an identity on a website based on anonymity and decided to creep him out of using a trip.

Parasocial relationships are scary. A few years ago I became obsessed with an online friend. Was convinced she was an angel, and would freak out on anyone who said something bad about her. Spam messaged her, constantly checked everything she did and knew her schedules, obsessed over who she spoke too etc. it got to a point where I wasn’t eating or sleeping, just sitting in my room staring at my screen waiting for her. We only called a few times too, because my voice would suddenly become a stuttery mess whenever I tried to talk to her. I also used to carve my skin with hearts, believing it was a good luck charm to keep our relationship going. I say relationship because my mind was warped into believing we both loved eachother, and that she was just too shy to say something. She grew cold and distant and we eventually stopped talking. I was forced to move on (and my whole family was trying to get me help for the obsession, I refused to acknowledge it as a problem) and a few years later I haven’t spoken to her since and I’m back to normal. I have no clue why her, or why this happened. It’s never happened before and hasn’t happened since.

@@pkguhgjnr6098 sure! I i had only a few friends, and then met her. We all got along well, until an argument where I ended up losing all but two of my friends: her and another. A few months passed, and all three of us talked a lot. We got closer, and I ended up thinking I had a crush on her. We dated for a bit, until her homophobic parents saw (they checked her online usage like mad, surprised it took a few months to realise), and she deleted her account. Her final thing was a message to me, asking to email her on an alternative email. At the time I was doing something, and I saw the notification but didn’t check, thinking it wasn’t important. When I did check 30 minutes later, I read it and my heart broke. We ended up communicating via email, but I felt immense guilt at the fact that I was the reason her social media’s were gone. Not to mention, the fact she was suffering while I ignored the notification. She did come back, but we remained only talking on email for months. At this point I had drifted from my other friends, and it was just her. She became my main focus, with ‘its you’re fault she’s unhappy’ and ‘you should’ve read the message sooner, you could’ve helped her’ being my motivation to always check on her. We broke up almost instantly, but as months went by, I developed this admiration for her. I thought it was love, but looking back it was an obsessive admiration. She had always been so kind to me, stayed when others didn’t, yet I had caused her such trouble. I felt as if it was my duty to spend all my time talking to her. This is when my family noticed, and she did too. She would stop messaging as much, and when she did I’d message more. Seeing my old emails is awful, because a lot of them are just “are you ok, where are you, are you dead or hurt, please answer, im worried”. I think if I had to say what caused the obsession, it was guilt. We would also stopped talking for weeks, in which she had grown distant and no longer friendly. That was when an incident with someone else happened, I deleted my account, and we just never talked again. I think she’s better now, idk, but I think that it’s good for both of us to never ever talk again. I hope that answered things 😊

As a ex streamer the parasocial relationship can be even the other way around. I was parasocial to a viewer because he was one of the OGs of my channel. But when I was at a slump, I was ragging on them to watch my streams and such until it took them leaving to realize I was the one being parasocial Edit: I know some are asking if this parasocial, for me it was because I didn't KNOW them outside of streaming. If streaming or the "streamer" and "viewer" interactions weren't happening I really didn't see them. I can see how this can be a friendship in a way but for me, it didn't feel that way unless they were giving something to me. Any other time I would rarely interact with them unless it's was for the benefit of the stream.

I mean if everyone there post as anonymous, and he decided for some reason to use some nickname, what differences him from the rest and also gave a possibility to easily track his posts, seems like a likely reason to do something like this. Especially as a troll. Some guy decided that it would be funny to troll someone who decided to use nickname just for the fun of it, and i can understand that. And the archiver got more and more fun after community there created his nickname and was discussing about his obsession, and decided to go full on trolling. Of course the 96 pages are lot, but let be honest a lot of people don't do anything for hours some days, and using those hours for something not challenging in anyway and possibly entertaining for the trollers seems like not bad at all (and far more reasonable for me then this "obsession"). And troller just decided to end it one day, and did it with a big bang, and i respect that. I just think it was just a big and elaborate troll.

ngl, I wish my stalker had been more charming like this. recently, I dealt with a stalker who I presume to be a woman whose the ex of someone I knew online ten years ago and after stealing his laptop found contact to me. my stalker, or rather should I say my doxxer, doxxed me, has made 200 + accounts to harass, impersonate, and threaten me on all social media platforms I use such as reddit, tiktok, steam, discord and so forth. many rumors spread around about my family that are not true, pretending to be me and sometimes oddly not being malicious at all when pretending to be me as though she just wanted to feel what it would be like to act like me, threats while having my full address, and so much more. maybe it isn't parasocial since I doubt she has any love or admiration for me, but it still feels parasocial since I don't even know who this person is, and they always claim to be a man while making mention of how I am underweight and they could easily over power me, threatening to scoop out my eyeballs with a spoon, and more. I have nearly 50-100 screen shots of this person being predatory, and this video just made me want to talk about my own experience here in the comment section. I could compile a whole video with all the screen shots I have of this person who was very strange and predatory towards me, and it went on for months and my stalker still sometimes comes around to mess with me, as well as saving every single photo of myself I post and sometimes even quoting me word for word. ... the internet is such a weird place filled with odd and sometimes very concerning people.

I honestly think this is real. Like yeah it seems impossible for someone to be so obsessed with another person but its very easy for some people (mostly neurodivergent people) to get obsessed with seemingly random things. I myself have a gotten extremely attached to random people on the internet and even in real life, sometimes i didnt even know anything about them but my mind just decided to focus all its attention to this random person. I have had to distance myself from certain people so that I wouldn't get psychopathically obsessed with them. Its very straining to have to think about a certain person every hour of every day and not being able to focus on anything else. So I do understand how the archiver could have been a real stalker and their behavior of documenting every little interaction and word of utv is very similiar to my behavior when ive gotten obsessed with people. From using tripcodes myself (for a very specific purpose of a project, not for tripfagging) I think it would be pretty impressive to have posted so much as a trip and then anon without making a single slip up. Of course, now I think about it there are ways you could reduce any risk - using different devices, browsers, 4chan skins etc. However it just seems a bit... high effort. UTV probably made his own stalking documents. Think about it, he probably wanted attention (or something to that effect) on the SB board. It can also explain how there is THAT much info about him. He used a VPN (or maybe a different browser) to make an anonymous account, and then use the UTV account to reply to his own messages. This could also explain the vids where it seemingly is his own house. He filmed outside his house either during nighttime, or maybe in his own room with the lights off and that was how the somewhat dark footage was filmed. To explain the poetry and song parody's, he basically chose a random song and slapped himself in it, and or the *ahem* erotic stuff, he probably wrote it with some friends (but if he did it by himself, that would be more likely). (DONT FORGET. THIS IS JUST MY PERSONNAL THEORY. FOR WHAT I KNOW I COULD'VE GOTTEN EVERYTHING WRONG)

I have a childhood friend who stalked girls when he was in high school but has since stopped. He was (and still is) a virgin, never kissed anyone, almost no friends. 26 years old. Autistic. Divorced parents, very poor. His access to games and the internet was more limited than the average kid of the time.
